Luxury Egypt and the Nile Tour: Cairo, Luxor & Aswan

Get to Cairo and meet your guide. No matter what time your plane touches down, a New Travel Dynamics staff member will be waiting at Cairo International Airport. They will assist you with your Egypt entry visa, if it applies to your nationality, and they will help you handle the arrival steps.  

You will then travel by a private, air-conditioned car straight to your hotel.  

Once you arrive, your guide will support a quick check-in. They will also explain your plan for the stay, including your pickup times.  

Stay overnight in Cairo.

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel and head to the Giza Plateau. You will see the Great Pyramids of Giza, the only major wonder still standing from the ancient world. Take time at the Sphinx, then walk through the Valley Temple. Your guide will also set up a private photo session on the plateau so you can keep clear memories.  

Later, have lunch at a chosen Egyptian restaurant. Then go on to the Grand Egyptian Museum. It is about two kilometers from the pyramids, roughly 1.2 miles away. Inside, you will find over 100,000 items that cover 5,000 years. The museum also brings the full Tutankhamun collection together in one place for the first time.  

After the visit, you will return to your hotel.  

Stay overnight in Cairo.  

Luxury upgrade: Enter the Great Pyramid of Khufu.

Have breakfast, then leave the hotel. Take a private car to Cairo Airport. Fly from Cairo to Luxor.

When you land, a New Travel Dynamics staff member will be waiting for you. They will take you in a private vehicle to your five-star luxury cruise on the Nile.

After lunch onboard, go with your Egyptologist guide. Visit Karnak Temple. Then see the beautiful halls and the long colonnades at Luxor Temple.

You will have dinner on the cruise, then stay overnight onboard.

After you finish breakfast, go over to Luxor’s West Bank. Spend time at the Valley of the Kings, where the New Kingdom pharaohs were buried.  

Next, visit the terraced mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. It was started in the 15th century BC. Hatshepsut was one of the few women who ruled Egypt as pharaoh.  

Then head back to the cruise for lunch. After lunch, the ship sails toward Edfu.  

Dinner is on board. You stay overnight on the cruise.  

Luxury upgrade: You enter the tomb of Tutankhamun, the boy king. You will have already seen his treasures at the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Visits: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut

Have breakfast, then go to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. It is among the best kept temples in Egypt.  

Next, travel by boat to Kom Ombo. Stop there to see the rare double temple. It honors Sobek, the crocodile god. It also honors Horus, the falcon headed god.  

Have lunch while you cruise toward Aswan.  

In the evening, have dinner and stay overnight on board.

Eat breakfast, then head out to see Aswan. Start at the Unfinished Obelisk, the biggest ancient obelisk anyone has found. It is still in the granite quarry where workers left it mid carve.  

Next, take a quick boat trip to the Temple of Philae. This temple sits on an island and was built for the goddess Isis.  

Come back to your cruise for lunch. After that, spend the rest of the day at an easy pace along the Nile.  

Have dinner on board, then stay overnight on the ship.

After breakfast, get off the cruise. Then use a private car to go to Aswan Airport. Take your flight to Cairo.  

When you land, a New Travel Dynamics staff member will meet you. You will ride by private vehicle to your hotel.  

After that, keep the rest of the day free.  

Stay overnight in Cairo.  

Upgrade option: Take a flight to Abu Simbel to visit the huge temples of Ramses II. Then continue on to Cairo, if flight times allow.

Eat breakfast at the hotel.  
Then you will go by private transfer to Cairo International Airport.  
You will catch your flight home.
