Egypt Honeymoon Trip: Cairo, Nile Cruise, Hurghada

Welcome to the newlyweds! When you land at Cairo International Airport, your tour guide will meet you there, help you with the arrival procedures and quietly guide you to your hotel in a comfortable, fully air-conditioned car. At the hotel, they take care of the smooth check-in and go over your detailed holiday plan, just to make sure each pick-up time is correct and nothing is missed.

After this proper, and honestly delicious breakfast, your private guide will escort you to the Giza Plateau to marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza, which is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You’ll also pause at the famous Sphinx , and the Valley Temple too. After a real, authentic Egyptian lunch, you’ll move on towards the New Grand Egyptian Museum, or as people say, the Giza Museum. This latest landmark , sits about two kilometres from the Giza Pyramids , and it’s among the biggest and most advanced archaeological museums around. Inside you’ll find more than 100,000 artefacts across 5,000 years, including the whole Tutankhamun collection, shown together for the first time, and it blends sleek modern design, hands-on interactive areas , plus those amazing views over the Giza Plateau. Finally you’ll head back to your hotel for the night.

Have a good breakfast first, before meeting your guide for a tour of Old Cairo. You’ll wander through a few of the countries oldest historic churches, kind of calm and deep history. After lunch at a local restaurant (not just something quick), keep going toward the impressive Salah El-Din Citadel, where you can step inside the grand Mohammed Ali Mosque, and then take in panoramic views over the whole city.  

In the evening, you will be picked up for a romantic dinner at Zyara El Haram restaurant, yes it sounds fancy but it is really cozy.

After breakfast, you will be transfered to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. When you arrive, you’ll be met , assisted and then transferred to your hotel, no rush. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy, and if you feel like it, there’s an optional chance to take a traditional felucca ride on the Nile, maybe in the late afternoon.

After breakfast our rep will sort of usher you along for a scenic felucca ride, out towards the Nubian Village. Once you’re there you can enjoy the whole Nubian way of living, it’s kind of charming in that quiet way and you’ll be received with a traditional Nubian Zaffa, plus lively music that just keeps going. Later on you will be guided back, transfer arranged back to your hotel in Aswan.

After breakfast, youll get shifted over to your Nile River cruise vessel and you’ll embark before lunch, kind of a smooth start. In the afternoon you’ll tour the really breathtaking Philae Temple, which is dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor, and you’ll also see the Unfinished Obelisk sitting in the ancient stone quarries. Dinner will be served onboard.

Overnight, you stay aboard your cruise in Aswan.

The ship just sails toward Kom Ombo. After breakfast on board, you’ll pop over to the Kom Ombo Temple, and it’s kinda special because it’s shared by the gods Sobek  and Haeroris . Then the ship continues on, heading to Edfu. Right after lunch, you’ll tour what many call the best kept cult temple in Egypt , the Horus Temple in Edfu. Later on, grab afternoon tea while you sail onward to Esna. Dinner will be served back on board , so no worries.

Sail on to Luxor. After breakfast onboard, you will head over to the West Bank, it is quite a sight. The trip brings you to the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground for 62 pharaohs, plus the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari. You will also see the monumental Colossi of Memnon, yes those towering statues. Lunch is served onboard.

In the afternoon, enjoy tea while you are sailing. Dinner is served onboard as well.  

Overnight aboard your cruise in Luxor.

Start your day with breakfast on board, then you’ll disembark from the cruise. Later, the morning has you going around the magnificent Karnak Temple and also the Luxor Temple, kind of a must. 

In the afternoon, you’ll be moved by air-conditioned vehicle which is shared with your New Dynamics Travel group , to Hurghada along the Red Sea. It’s roughly a 5-hour drive .

Visits: Karnak Temple , Luxor Temple

This is a free day in Hurghada.  You have optional excursions ready, to try exquisite diving and snorkeling across the Red Sea coral reefs, or you can pick something else like windsurfing, sailing, and deep-sea fishing, too.

A further free day, to take in the Red Sea . You can choose optional tours for diving and snorkeling to spot astonishing, rare fish . Or just pick other activities, like windsurfing, sailing, or even deep-sea angling.

After your breakfast , you’ll be moved to Hurghada Airport so you can take your flight to Cairo. Once you arrive in Cairo, you’ll be welcomed, helped with everything, and transferred to your hotel for a bit of leisure time (you know, rest and so on).
