Best Egypt family tour by Air for 10 Day

When you land at Cairo Airport, your guide will meet you and help you into a cool, air-conditioned car.

Next, we will head straight to the Giza Necropolis and the Great Pyramids area. You will see the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafra, and Mankaura. You can also ride a camel and look around the Giza Plateau.

After that, we go to the Papyrus Institute. There, you can learn how people in ancient Egypt made papyrus for writing and art.

Later, you will try making your own papyrus scroll. You will do this after the talk on how papyrus is produced.

For lunch, we stop at a small local place in central Cairo. Then we continue through old Cairo to take in the sights. You will visit Coptic Cairo, Islamic Cairo, and Al-Azhar.

We wrap up the day at Khan El Khalili.

At the end of the tour, we take you back to your Cairo hotel so you can check in and rest.

After breakfast ends, your tour leader will meet you at your hotel. They will help with check-out. Then you will head to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor.

When you land in Luxor, your tour guide will take you to your hotel. You can rest there for a bit before you start the next part of the trip.

First, you will go to the Luxor Museum. It is a fun place to walk through. You can see pottery, jewellery, furniture, sculptures, and stelae. Some items in the displays were made for the Brooklyn Museum in New York. The rooms also show many objects from Theban temples and from the Necropolis. You will also spot pieces linked to Tutankhamun, including a cow-goddess head.

Next, you will visit the Mummification Museum. This is where you can learn about burial work and the people behind it. You may also see a fine set of mummified animals. The museum shows human and animal mummies. It also has the tools used in the process and the canopic jars.

For lunch, you will stop at a nearby restaurant. After lunch, we will drive you back to your Luxor hotel so you can spend the evening there.

Day 3: Day Tour to East bank of Luxor

Your guide will meet you at your place after breakfast. Then we will head to the Valley of the Kings.

Many royal rulers were laid to rest here long ago. This is one of the best known burial sites in Egypt. You will see famous tombs, including those connected to Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, Ramses VI, Mrenptah, and Amonhotep II.

After that, we go to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. You may also hear it called El Dir El Bahari. It was made by Hatshepsut, who was the only woman pharaoh in ancient Egypt. She was the daughter of Thutmosis I. It dates to the 18th Dynasty, around 1490 to 1469 B.C. She led Egypt for about 20 years and built this temple during that time.

Next, we visit the Colossi of Memnon. These statues are all that remains of Amenhotep III's funerary temple.

We then stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant. After lunch, we return you to your hotel for the night.

Have breakfast, then leave the hotel. Your tour guide will meet you and take you to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus. This is the key site in Edfu, and it is also one of Egypt’s best kept temple spaces.

Next, head to the Kom Ombo Pylon. This gate area once had two entrances. Today, the left side is gone. You can still see the central pillar and the lower parts of the right wing. As you get closer, look for a carved scene of the Roman ruler Domitian. He is shown with the crowns of Upper Egypt. You can also spot the figures of Sobek, Hathor, and Khons. On the front wall to the right, there is more work, including a long row of hieroglyphs, about 52 lines.

After the visits, you will stop for lunch at a place nearby. Then we will take you back to your stay in Aswan for the night.

You will start your Aswan day trip with a stop at the High Dam. It was built in the 1960s and is a major engineering work. After you are picked up from your hotel, or met by your tour guide, you go straight there. From the top of the dam, you can see Lake Nasser. You can also spot the Kalabsha temple to the south, and the big power station to the north.

Next, you will ride in an air-conditioned car for about three hours to the south. This is for the Abu Simbel day tour. Both Abu Simbel temples are famous for their build. Many people call them a top achievement of ancient Egypt. The scenes show the power and beauty of the time of the new kingdom. Egypt’s government worked with UNESCO to keep the temples safe from flood waters. At the main temple, Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramesses II were worshiped. You will also hear the name Sun Temple of Ramses II for the large Abu Simbel site.

After that, you go to the Temple of Queen Nefertari. It is also called the Temple of Hathor, since Nefertari is linked with Hathor, who is described as the wife of the Sun God. The temple is meant to show a tie between Ramesses II, Hathor, and the Sun God. You will spend around three hours there before you head back toward Aswan.

Then you return to your hotel. You will have lunch there. After lunch, you rest for the night.

After breakfast, check out of your place to stay. Your tour guide will meet you and bring you to the next stop. The final site is also the biggest one in Aswan.

Philae Temple was taken apart and rebuilt in its new spot. This happened after the High Dam work lifted the water level of the Nile. The distance from the old location was about 500 metres.

When you reach the island by speedboat, your guide will lead you around on foot. After that, you get time on your own to look around and do your own notes.

The temple sits in a beautiful spot on an island in the river. The gardens around it are shaped to feel like the old original place. Philae is dedicated to the goddess Isis.

When the trip ends, you will be dropped at Aswan airport. Then you will fly to Cairo. After you arrive in Cairo, you will be taken to your hotel and stay overnight.

Your guide and driver will meet you at your Cairo hotel at 6:00 AM. You will ride in a private car with air-conditioning. The trip goes about 350 km west from Giza to Bahariya Oasis.

You will be on the road for around four hours.

At Bahariya, you will switch to a 44. Then you will head 40 km into the desert to see the Black Desert.

After that, lunch will be at a popular local place. You can swim and relax. You can do it before or after lunch.

Next, you will go on for about 90 km. The route includes the Agbatat and Crystal deserts. You will also pass mountains and sand dunes. Then you will turn left toward the White Desert.

The White Desert is known for its pale stones. The shapes can look like mushrooms, chickens, and bunnies.

After the visits, you will return to your stay in Cairo.

Have breakfast in the morning. Then check out, and your guide will take you to Alexandria in a new, air-conditioned car.

This trip will begin at the catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa. Many travelers call them a rare sight from the medieval era. They are also the biggest Roman burial place in Egypt that we know of. The tombs spread over three levels. It is said they can hold as many as 300 bodies. Long before people used it as a public burial ground, it was meant for one family. The design of the tombs feels like a mix of styles. You can see Greco-Roman influence in the carvings and wall art. The scenes blend Egyptian, Greek, and Roman traditions in a way that stands out.

After a short pause for pictures, you will head to Qaitbey’s Citadel. This fort is known as one of the key defenses in Egypt. It also matters along the Mediterranean coast. In the 1400s, it played a role in Alexandria’s defense. The citadel sits near the eastern end of Pharos Island, close to the harbor entrance on that side. It was built where the old Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood. That lighthouse was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Next, you will visit the Montazah Royal Palaces and Gardens. These grounds were linked to Mohamed Ali Pasha’s family. The ownership is traced from Khedive Abbas Helmy II through to King Farouk I.

In the end, the tour finishes at the Modern Alexandria Library. This library was made to replace the Old Library. The Old Library was famous for its huge collection of books. It covered different sciences and many kinds of literature. After the city visit, you will be taken back to your hotel in Alexandria.

Eat breakfast, then leave the hotel. A driver will meet you and take you in a cool, air-conditioned car. You will go to Pompei's Pillar. It stands where the Temple of Serapis once was. That temple was built in the first century BC. In the Ptolemaic period, Serapis was called the chief god of Alexandria.

Next, visit Abu Al-Abbas Al-Mursi. It is the largest mosque in Alexandria. The front is cream in color. There are four large domes. You can see detailed arabesque carvings. A tall minaret rises above it all.

After that, head to Kom el-Dikka, the Roman Amphitheatre. This is one more stop in Alexandria. The Roman theatre and a nearby housing area sit close to the center of the city.

Later, you will go back to Cairo. Before that, one of our guides will take you through the older streets of Alexandria. Then you can relax and spend the night.
