6 Days from Cairo to Alexandria Tour Package

Welcome to Egypt.

When you land at Cairo International Airport, an English-speaking representative will meet you. They will help you get through the steps smoothly. After that, they will take you to the Cairo Pyramids hotel for the night, so you can rest.

We will see you in your hotel lobby in the morning. Then we will head with you to your first stop on day two. It is the Memphis Pyramid.

The structure once rose to about 52 meters. Its base was close to 78 meters. Over the years, a lot of it wore away or was taken down. Today, it is only around 15 meters tall.

This pyramid also differs from the big Egyptian pyramids. It was not made with large blocks of stone that were cut with great accuracy. Instead, workers used mud bricks. After that, they covered the bricks with limestone.

Because of that build style, the pyramid did not last like the ones at Giza and in other places in Egypt.

Right after breakfast, your guide will come to your Cairo hotel. Then you will head out for your visit to the NMEC.  

Inside, you can see many old items. There are stone sculptures, painted pieces, pottery, and jewelry. They span from very early times to more recent periods.  

A highlight is the Royal Mummies Hall. It holds mummies of royal figures from the New Kingdom. You will see names like Ramses II and Hatshepsut.  

You will also find things to do on your own. There are hands on displays, videos, and learning activities. These help you understand Egyptian history and daily life in a clear way.  

The site is set up with services for guests. There is a shop for souvenirs, a place to eat, and a conference room.  

Next, enjoy your lunch.  

After the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.

On the fourth day, after you rest at the hotel, we will head to Alexandria. The city is known for old sites and long stories.  

First stop: Kom Ash Shogafa. This ancient necropolis is a place many people come to see. Walk through the tombs and passages from the Roman period. Notice how Roman, Greek, and Egyptian designs show up together.  

Next: Pompey’s Pillar. This tall structure is easy to spot and hard to forget. You can climb to the top for wide views over the city. Guides will explain what it means and why it matters.  

Then: Bibliotheca Alexandria. It honors the old Library of Alexandria. Inside, you can look at many books, displays, and areas meant for learning. There may also be cultural activities during your visit. The building itself is striking.  

After that: Qaitbay Citadel. This fort was built in the 1400s to guard Alexandria from threats. You can tour the walls and halls. You will also hear how it served as a key defense point.  

Later, you will try Egyptian food that tastes great. Then you can walk along the beaches and the waterfront walkways.  

At the end, we will take you to Paradise Inn Hotel.

El Alamein is a seaside city in Egypt’s Matrouh Governorate. It sits around 106 km to the west of Alexandria.

This place became well known in World War II. Two key battles were fought here in 1942 and 1943. They are often grouped under the name Battle of El Alamein.

Today, many travelers visit for both history and scenery. You can walk through local historical areas and also enjoy the coast. There are museums to explore, such as the El Alamein War Museum. It shows items and mementos tied to the fighting. Another site is the German War Cemetery. It holds the remains of more than 4,000 German soldiers who died during the war.

The beaches are also a big draw. Cleopatra Beach is one of them, and it is said that the ancient Egyptian queen visited there. Marassi Beach is another stop. It is known for clear water and sunsets that stand out.

After your time there, you will return to Cairo. You will rest at your hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, a driver will take you to Cairo International Airport. From there, you will catch your flight and head back home.
