When you land at Cairo International Airport, one of our team members will meet you. You will then be taken to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned car.
After you arrive, we will go over your Cairo and Red Sea short trip in Egypt. We will check that every day tour matches the plan. If you want to include extra Cairo sightseeing during your Egypt Family Tours, you can mention it then.
We start with a visit to the Giza Necropolis. You will see the three large pyramids up close. The Great Pyramid of Giza, the biggest one, is made from more than 2.3 million stone blocks. It also took more than twenty years to build. The Pyramid of Khafre is smaller, yet it still looks impressive. The Pyramid of Menkaure was built as a tomb for Pharaoh Menkaure.
After that, we will visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum, or GEM. It is also known as the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. It was founded in 1835. Many people consider it one of the most important museums for ancient Egyptian items. You can walk through the rooms and view a wide range of artifacts. There are mummies, jewelry, statues, and more. The displays help you understand the history and culture of ancient Egypt.
Later, before we take you back to your hotel, we will stop for a local meal at a special restaurant. You will enjoy tasty Egyptian food.
Start your day with a tasty breakfast at the hotel. Then you will travel by private A/C car to Cairo airport. You will catch your internal flight to Luxor International Airport.
Your flight from Cairo to Luxor is about 1.2 hours each way, nonstop. The airline distance is 502.57 km.
When you land, a skilled guide will meet you at the airport. Next, you will ride in a private A/C car to Luxor Temple. The temple sits on the east bank of the Nile in southern Egypt.
First, you will explore the Sanctuary. This is the inner part of the temple. In the past, it held a statue of the god Amun. The statue is gone now, but you can still find traces of the shrine and nearby buildings.
After that, you will go to the Valley of the Kings. You can visit the tombs there. You will also hear about the past of the place and why it matters. The Valley of the Kings has a long story and remains one of Egypt’s key archaeological areas.
Next stop is the Colossi of Memnon. These are two very large stone statues on the west bank of the Nile. It is a good spot for photos. You can look closely at their size, enjoy the view, and take pictures to keep as memories.
After the tour ends, we will take you to Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor. You will stay one night there before continuing to Hurghada.
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive you to Hurghada in a private car with air conditioning. When you arrive, you will check in at Dream Beach Hotel.
The ride can be tiring, so take the day as you like. You can lie on the beach and rest, or join in with activities nearby.
If you feel like it, you can also see what is under the Red Sea. Hurghada is a great place for this, and there are many diving and snorkeling options on our website. If you want, your tour guide can suggest spots to spot colorful fish, coral, and wrecks.
Meal Provided: Breakfast and lunch
After breakfast, your guide will meet you and take you out into the desert near Hurghada. You will see how wide and open the sand area is, right around the town.
On the tour, you can try quad riding. You can also join the dune driving. The dune driving is done in a strong 4x4, and you travel up and down the sand hills. The ride can feel rough at times, but most people enjoy it a lot.
Meals are covered. Breakfast is included, and lunch comes with the tour too.
Eat breakfast at the hotel first. Then a driver will bring you to Cairo Airport for your last flight.
