On this Egypt day trip, you will tour the Luxor Temple. It is a major site made over time by several pharaohs. After that, you will visit the Karnak Temple. Many consider it the grandest place made for worship of the Sun God during the New Kingdom, Amun Re. Several rulers left their mark there, such as Hatshepsut, Seti I, Ramses II, and Ramses III. Alexander the Great also added his contribution. Next, you will eat lunch and dinner onboard the cruise. In the evening, you will have fun with a party on the ship.

Start your Luxor day tours after breakfast on your Egyptian Nile cruise. Then go to the West Bank and see the main sights. Your route includes the Valley of the Kings, where many New Kingdom tombs of pharaohs are found.

You will also stop to view the painted wall scenes. The colors are still clear in many places. One area shows a court-like trial moment. There you can spot divine figures linked to the afterlife, including Osiris. You may also see Maat, the goddess tied to justice. Anubis, connected with the necropolis in ancient Egypt, also appears in these stories.

Next visit Hatshepsut Temple, also known as El Deir El Bahari. This temple is tied to the ruler from the 18th Dynasty. Hatshepsut was the second woman pharaoh to lead Egypt. The site includes a set of royal temples and tombs along the West Bank. It sits across the Nile from the city of Luxor. The complex was set up for rituals meant to help her in the world after death. The name used today is an Arab name. It was given to this area in the 7th century AD. It came after the Copts used the temple as a monastery.

Later, as your Luxor excursions come to an end, visit the Colossi of Memnon. These are two very large seated stone statues. They represent the pharaoh Amenhotep III.

After that, enjoy meals on board your Nile cruise boat. Have an open buffet lunch while you sail toward Edfu. Continue with dinner onboard as well.

Eat breakfast on the Nile cruise. Then you will go on the tour for Kom Ombo and Edfu.

First, visit the Horus Temple. It is also called the Edfu Temple. Horus was the Egyptian god of the sky. He was linked to Isis and Osiris. He was shown with a man’s body and a hawk’s head.

Next, sail to Kom Ombo. Stop at the Kom Ombo Temple. This temple was made for Sobek, the crocodile god. You can see two main entrances. One side links to Sobek. The other side honors Haroeris, shown with a falcon head. The temple dates to the Ptolemaic dynasty.

After the visits, continue sailing toward Aswan. Enjoy the views along the Nile River.

First stop: Aswan High Dam.  
This dam was built in the 1960s under President Nasser. Its main job was to stop the yearly flooding that used to hit Egypt. It is also one of the most popular tours from Aswan.

Next stop: Philae Temple in Aswan.  
After that, you will go to Philae Temple. It is known as one of the most striking temples from ancient Egypt. The stone work and carvings have remained strong for many years, and they still show the skill of people from long ago. After your visit, you will be taken back to your Luxor to Aswan Nile Cruise. You will have lunch and dinner on the boat.
