Holy Family Trip 8 Days Easter Package

Your first day of the trip starts with meeting our New Travel Dynamics guide. He will come to the arrival area and pick you up from inside the Cairo airport gate. Then you will ride in a non-smoking car to your hotel.

At the hotel, our staff will assist you with check-in. They will also go over your plan for the days ahead. After you arrive, you will be offered a welcome drink.

If you want, you can join a night activity. This is a Nile River felucca cruise. (Optional)

Stay overnight in Cairo.

Once you finish a nice breakfast at your hotel, a driver will meet you and you will head out to your first stop.

You will get to visit the famous pyramids at Giza. This includes the Khufu pyramid, the Chephren pyramid, and Menkaure, the smallest of the three.

Next, you will see the Great Sphinx. It sits near the pyramids and is there to guard them, even from those who tried to take what was kept inside.

After that, you will have lunch at a good restaurant. When lunch ends, you will visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum, also called GEM.

The museum has a large collection of Egyptian history items and ancient pieces.  

When the tour is done, you will return to the hotel for the night so you can get ready for tomorrow.

Wake up. Get ready. After breakfast you will begin visits to the sites in old Cairo.

The Monastery of Saint Simeon:

The Cava Church also known as the Monastery of Saint Simeon is a wonder. It is carved into the Mokattam mountain, which lies to the southeast of Cairo.

Your private driver and guide will take you next to the Roman Fortress of Babylon. Then to The Hanging Church.

The Hanging Church was built in the century for the Virgin Mary. After that you will visit the Church of St Sergius, which was home to the Holy Family. Then you will walk to Ben Ezra Synagogue, located near the palace of the pharaoh. There you can learn more about history. Finally you will visit the Virgin Mary tree.

After these visits you will return to the hotel for your night, in Cairo.

In the morning, you will be picked up. Then you will travel to Alexandria. On the way, you will go from Cairo to Alex.

Along the route, you will stop at Wady El Natroun. It is in Beheira Governorate. The area has eight salty lakes. You will also tour the monastery complex.

You will see places like the Anba Bishoy Monastery and the Baramous Monastery.

When you arrive in Alexandria, lunch will be served. After that, you will be taken to the hotel. You will stay overnight.

Have breakfast before anything else. Then meet your tour guide so you can begin the day.

Saint Mark Monastery:
This is a church in Alexandria. It is linked to Saint Mark, who is seen as an important figure for the Coptic Orthodox tradition.

Next stop: Kom el Shoqafa catacombs
These are ancient tombs in Alexandria. They date to the Roman era. You will find them in the Karmooz area, which is west of Alexandria.

Lunch
Have your seafood meal.

Then visit Qaitbay Citadel
The citadel was built over 500 years ago. It sits near the end of Pharos Island, on the west side of Alexandria.

After that, you will go back to Cairo.
You will stay overnight there.

Eat breakfast so you can have the energy for your trip to Sinai. You begin the ride when you arrive, and you will first visit the springs of Prophet Moses.

There are twelve springs. This area is well liked by many visitors. The weather can be very hot in summer and mild in winter. People can drink the water from the springs.

Next, you will go to see St. Catherine’s monastery. It is one of the most well known monasteries in Egypt.

After that, you will have lunch. Then you will be driven to your hotel for an overnight stay.

In the early morning, you will have your breakfast to get ready for the real adventure you will be climbing the mount of Sinai after you are done you will be taken to have your lunch then travel all the way back to Cairo to have a chilling overnight in a comfortable hotel.

On the last day, you will have your tasty breakfast then you will be taken back to drop you off at the airport which will be our end of service.
