We will collect you from your hotel in Cairo early in the morning. A private, air conditioned car will take you to Cairo airport. You will fly to Aswan.

High Dam
The High Dam of Aswan was a major design achievement. It was built in the mid 1960s. The dam helped generate electricity. It also kept flood water in the artificial lake of Nasser.
Unfinished Obelisk
The Unfinished Obelisk is linked to Queen Hatshepsut, dated to 1508 to 1458 BC. It is a striking work of architecture. The obelisk is said to weigh about 200 African elephants. Its height is 41.75 meters, which is 137.0 ft. It is one of the best open air museums in the world. It also shows the skill of ancient Egyptian stone carving methods.

Philae Temple
Philae Temple is one of the best preserved archaeological sites in Egypt. It belongs to the Ptolemaic era, from 332 to 30 BC. It is known as a lasting home of Isis. She is the goddess of motherhood. She is also the wife of the ruler of the Underworld. She is the mother of Horus, the god of kingship and victory. King Nectanebo I built the temple from 380 to 362 BC. Later, Ptolemy II Philadelphus added more work between 285 and 246 BC. Today, the temple is on Agilkia Island.

Abu Simbel Temples
The Abu Simbel Temples are famous along Egypt’s far south border. They were built in 1264 BC. The temples show the divine side of Ramsess the Great, also known as Ozymandias. He is linked to the Battle of Kadesh, which led to a peace deal between Egypt and the Hittites. That agreement is often called the first written peace treaty in history. The site honors Amun Ra, Ra Horakhty, and Ptah. It also presents a divine view of Ramses II.

After the visit, you return to Aswan for lunch.
Later, you fly back to Cairo. When you arrive, you will be taken to your hotel.
