The Egyptian Museum came to life in 1901 in central Cairo. It was created to house some of the most important monuments ever made.

Cairo Citadel

National Museum of Egyptian Civilization  
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization opened in 2017 in Fustat. It shows Egypt’s story in a modern way. The site covers about 490,000 sq m, or 5,300,00 sq ft. It was made with UNESCO and the Egyptian Government. It can hold up to 50,000 artifacts and around 20 royal mummies.

Al Muizz Street

Khan El Khalili Bazaar  
Khan El Khalili was built in the late 1300s, from 1382 to 1389 AD. It was part of the golden Islamic era. It became a place for trade and a meeting point for skilled craftspeople. It is also known as a top spot for shopping across the Middle East.
