Giza Pyramids, Museum of Egyptian Civilization & Khan El Khalili Bazaar Tour- Combining both the great ancient Egypt wonders along with historical Cairo's lively spirit and culture, discover the Great Pyramids of Giza, Great Sphinx, Valley Temple with the ancient Egyptian secrets, learn about the pharaohs & ancient Egyptian civilization. After Giza, transfer to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) with royal mummies & thousands of amazing historical monuments that represent Egypt through the various stages of its history. Later, transfer to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most traditional markets in the Middle East which is crowded with antiques,local crafts, perfumes & genuine souvenirs for Egyptians.

 

Itinerary

Day 1:
Giza Pyramids, NMEC & Khan El Khalili Bazaar Tour

New Travel Dynamics Tour Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, in a private AC vehicle (extra fees if outside Cairo/Giza). From here you proceed to the Giza plateau to visit: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Valley Temple.

Visit three great pyramids built by the pharaohs of the 4th dynasty, Great Pyramid of King Cheops(Khufu), Pyramid of Chephren(Khafre), Pyramid of Menkaure(Mycerinus). After visiting three great pyramids you proceed to Sphinx where you can see the famous limestone statue with body of a lion and head of a human and symbolises strength and wisdom.

And Valley Temple of Khafre, an ancient stone structure constructed from colossal granite and a limestone pavement built from giant rock blocks where pharaohs used to do their mummifications.

Optional activities such as camel riding or quad biking around the pyramids are available for an additional adventure.

After that, continue on your Cairo day tour and arrive to National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in the Old Cairo which is home for over 50.000 pieces and the famous Royal Mummies Hall which contains the Royal Mummies of the Ancient Egyptian kings and queens.

Later after the museum and visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest traditional markets in Egypt and filled with shops displaying all kinds of brassware, perfumes, jewelry, leather goods, antiques and real Egyptian souvenirs.

Enjoy lunch at a good quality local restaurant during the day tour. At the end of the day tour, transfer back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
