Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival

The tour guide, from New Dynamics Travel will meet and assist you at the Cairo International Airport . After that you will meet your guide who speaks English , before heading to your hotel to do the check in, and to spend the night there.

Day 2:
cairo day tour to pyramids

After breakfast you’ll be collected by our tour guide and, uh, driven off in a luxurious air-conditioned vehicle to the Saqqara Necropolis Noble Tombs, where you can wander through the tombs of Irukaptah and also King Sekhemkhet.

Then it’s on to the Memphis Necropolis (Mn Nefer) , the first capital of Egypt’s Old Kingdom, to visit the Mit Rahina open-air museum. There you can enjoy the famous Alabaster Sphinx which is carved from one huge stone block, plus the massive statues of Ramses II too.

The Red Pyramid is known as the first pyramid in human history with a truly accurate shape, while the Bent Pyramid is the best preserved among the pyramids. Your Egyptologist will escort you together with a private driver, to an extra section of the Giza Necropolis called Dahshur, which is honestly one of the more fascinating ancient Egyptian archaeological places.

Throughout your Cairo Day Tours (and yeah, this also includes a great lunch at a high-quality neighborhood restaurant), your guide will assist you with those tricky, professional-quality photos, so you get the best memories for Egypt Tours.

Finally, we’ll bring you back to your hotel so you can rest and overnight.

Day 3:
old cairo tour

Our guide will meet you when you get to the hotel, for your all day trip to Old Cairo. A good place to start is the Saladin Stronghold of Cairo, an old Islamic citadel right there in Cairo, Egypt. Not far from Cairo’s centre, on Mokattam hill, it was once famous for a cool breeze and these pretty city views, you know. Before you go to Al-Rifa'i Mosque which is close to Cairo Castle, pause first for lunch. It’s said that the structure, built in Sultan Hassan in 1361, and sitting opposite the Mosque-Madrassa, was kind of a follow on , like a complement to the earlier one.

Big mosque and madrassa, people call it the Sultan Hassan Mosque-Madrassa , it was made in Cairo’s Old City during the Mamluk Islamic era of Egypt. When it was put up the first time, the mosque’s huge scale and these modern architectural touches were praised like it was genuinely amazing. Al-Maqrizi wrote that the mosque held different “wonders of construction”, and he also noted that an-Nasir Hasan, a sultan with a short, not so notable record, had ordered it.

In the Mamluk Islamic era in Egypt, a large place of worship plus a madrassa, known as the Sultan Hassan Mosque-Madrassa, was constructed in the Old City of Cairo. The mosque stood out at the beginning because of its massive size and advanced architectural design. Al-Maqrizi mentioned that the less impressive, rather passing sultan an-Nasir Hasan, gave the go ahead, and that it contained multiple “wonders of architecture”.

After that, the day continues, and later we’ll return you to your hotel so you can relax there.

Day 4:
Baharyia oasis tour

If you want to really make the most of it, take our safari tour by 4*4 to the White Desert, then also to the Bahariya Oasis, and from there kick off your spectacular White Desert Egypt excursion straight from your lodging. The journey time from Cairo to the Bahariya Oasis, with a short pause in between, is about four hours .

Next, we’ll take you to the Valley of Golden Mummies and to the Temple of Alexander the Great , he defeated Persia and ruled Egypt in 332 B.C., right there at Bahriya Oasis, which sits roughly 420 kilometres from Cairo. You’ll also see the Tombs of the Nobles who governed the area during the 26th dynasty, and the Temple of Ein Muftella, it is known as one of the more important landmarks in Egyptian history

After that, we head you back to the hotel for an afternoon free , so you can go ahead and have a dip in the hot spring nearby, after lunch at a well known restaurant. There you can taste the local food that’s prepared using organic ingredients.

Later on, we will collect you again in the late afternoon and we’ll take you up the Black Mountain in a land rover, so you can wander around the ruins of “the English House” and enjoy the wide horizon views over the oasis as dusk starts to fall. The evening hours in Bahariya, are quiet and kind of magical , especially as night approaches .

Day 5:
the white desert tour

We ‘ll travel to the White Desert , which is part of the Farafra Oasis , after breakfast. On the way, we’ll just stop at a rest point to see the Black Desert , that place is filled with black formations and rugged mountains that are thickly covered with old volcanic rock. Next we’ll go through the Valley of El Haize , the last village of Bahariya to the south . If you want, you can grab a warm soak in a hot spring bath right here , it’s pretty soothing.

After that, in order to practise sandboarding and also witness the quartz crystals in the Crystal Mountains, we will move you in the car to the splendid Valley of Agabat. And finally you will spend the night camping in the White Desert, while your guides prep your delectable lunch , then you’ll get to watch a magnificent sunset.

Day 6:
back cairo

After a hearty breakfast, you will make your way toward the White Desert, to see the hot springs and, sort of marvel at those majestic white limestone shapes that you see around— they were crafted over thousands of years by the annual sandstorms that sweep through this region. Locals call these formations by a bunch of names, including the Mushroom and also the Rabbit , like they’re giving each one a little personality.

Then, once you reach Bahariya Oasis, you’ll swap into a more comfortable vehicle and take the route back to Cairo, back to your hotel in the city, with Bahariya as the stop in between.
