When you land at Cairo International Airport, our staff will meet you. They will take you to your hotel in Giza in a cool, air-conditioned car. After you check in, you can drop off your bags. Then you are free to roam around Cairo and Giza.
Start with the Pyramids of Giza. This is where you will see some of the best known pyramids in Egypt.
The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is one of the best landmarks of ancient Egypt. It was made in the time of the fourth dynasty, under King Khufu. Even now, it draws visitors from all over. You can also take a camel ride at the Giza Pyramids for about one hour, if you want.
Next, during the Giza pyramid visit, you will go to the Valley Temple of Chephren. After that, you will see the Great Sphinx. People often describe it as a man-headed lion and one of the most striking sights in the area.
Later, you will head to Saqqara. There you will visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, also called Zoser. This step pyramid is a key sight in the Saqqara necropolis. It dates back to the third dynasty, and it matters a lot if you like Egyptian history.
You can also enter the Pyramid of Teti in Saqqara. You will visit the tomb of Kagemni as well. This tomb belongs to a noble in Saqqara. In the tomb, you will notice wall scenes with animals, fish, and birds. The paintings show offering and hunting, and many people rate them among the finest ancient art.
After lunch at a good restaurant, return to the hotel. Check in and relax.

Your next day starts after breakfast at your hotel. Then you will meet your tour guide and begin your day in Cairo. First, you will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum. During a guided tour, you will spend about two hours looking at artifacts from many different periods.
Next, you can join a Coptic Cairo plan. You will travel to Old Cairo and visit the Hanging Church. After that, you will see the Church of St. Sergius, the place where the Holy Family is said to have stayed in the caves. Then you will continue to the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, one of the older Jewish houses of worship in the Middle East.
In the afternoon, you will have lunch, then you will walk through Khan El Khalili. You will also explore the souq area in the old center of Cairo. This part of the city is a key stop for visitors. It is also busy with local people. Many craftsmen and small workshops are here too. When your Cairo tour ends, you will be taken back to your hotel.
