Dinner time

Giza Pyramids Complex  
The Giza Pyramids Complex sits in the mysterious western desert, for the last 4000 years or so, and because of that it is considered one of the oldest monuments on earth. The whole area includes three main Pyramids , six smaller pyramids, the great protector of Egypt, and the impressive Sphinx, plus there is the Valley Temple, which was meant to safeguard the heritage, and the legacy of the kings and queens for so many generations.

The Great Giza Pyramid of Khufu  
The last still intact wonder among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World makes it one of the oldest and biggest works you can still find today. The Great Pyramid is surrounded by puzzles and fringe explanations, mainly because its inner passages are more complicated than you might expect for something of its size. It dates back to 2580 BC, so it is older than 4500 years , and it was the first monument of its style, which then kicked off the “golden age” of building in Ancient Egypt. It was crafted in 20 years, using about 2,300,000 blocks of limestone, each one around 2.5 tons , plus a crew of 100,000 free, well trained workers. Today it reaches a height of 147 m (481 ft), which is why it remained the tallest man made structure on the planet for 3800 years, until the construction of the Lincoln Cathedral in England in 1311.

The Great Sphinx  
The oldest statue in history, has the shape of a mythical creature called the Sphinx, it has this lion body but also the man head, so yeah , it’s probably King Khafre, as a sign of power and quiet wisdom. It is known as Abu Al-Hawl , meaning The Father of terror in Arabic, though some people say it feels more like a “guardian” type vibe. It measures 73 m (240 ft) in height, and 19 m (66 ft), and it was carved from one single limestone rock.  

The Valley Temple  
This is the place where the mummification process actually happened. The valley was built in Egypt's Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC), and it is considered one of the best preserved structures of the Ancient Egyptian Civilization. Everything was made from limestone and granite, and it also contains impressive diorite statues of Chephren , which is kind of amazing when you think about the precision.

The Grand Egyptian Museum  
The Grand Egyptian Museum is this grand structure with cutting edge technology, it’s basically loaded with fascinating archaeological treasures, and it’s aligned with the stellar pyramids of Giza. It covers nearly 490,000 square meters, so it feels huge even before you step in. It acts like a gateway to 5,000 years of history, showing the craftsmanship, spirituality, and the lasting influence of ancient Egypt for generations to come. GEM is designed to include one of the biggest conservation centers in the Middle East, with research labs and educational spaces too, all focused on protecting Egypt’s heritage. Everyone can admire items such as the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter colossus of Ramses II, and the complete selection of more than 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun.  

Overnight  
After your tour ends, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. When you arrive, you’ll meet our representative, then check in at a 5-star hotel in Luxor and overnight.

Valley of the Kings  
The Valley has acted as the final resting place and a stairway to heaven for the greatest Kings and Queens of Egypt's New Kingdom (1570-1070 BC). It is one of the most important archaeological spots in the world, as it became a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. It holds 63 tombs, filled with various enchanting artifacts, decorations and also the remains of pharaohs like Ramses (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X), Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the famous boy king Tutankhamen. Most of the tombs there belong to favored nobles and royal family members. It was established as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, again. It is also the place where you can find tombs such as Ramses II and Tutankhamen.

Hatshepsut Temple  
A.K.A. Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies) is, honestly, the beauty of Luxor, it reflects the greatness of the New Kingdom (1550-1070 BC) and it shows the vision and glory of one of the most successful rulers in the history of Ancient Egypt, Queen Hatshepsut. It was designed by Hatshepsut's chancellor Senenmut in 1479 BC, and it took 15 years to construct. The whole design of the temple is based on the idea of Classical Architecture, very structured, in a way. It holds some of the most impressive decorations and statues in all of Egypt, without exaggeration.

Colossi of Memnon  
Two huge blocks of quartzite sandstone, standing roughly 18 m (60ft) high, each weighing about 720 tons. They have the shape of Amenhotep III (1386-1350) and, honestly, they look like they were carved and left there for ages. The Colossi were badly hurt during a big earthquake in 27 BC, yet they were restored later in 199 AD.  

During the Greco-Roman period, the Colossi of Memnon became really well known. There was a rumor about the Vocal Memnon, that those statues sang now and then, which was basically nothing dramatic it was just the sound of wind slipping through the statue.

Karnak Temple  
This is one of the world’s biggest open air museums, it was called Ipet-isu, meaning “The Most Selected Of Places”, and Pr-Imn, which is basically the House Of Amon. It goes back more than 4000 years, and it is considered the largest religious man-made construction on the planet.  

Karnak Temple also worked as the spiritual hub for the whole ancient Egyptian kingdom. It was devoted to the Theban triad, including God Amun together with his wife, the Goddess of Justice and balances, Mut, and their son the moon god Khonsu. Besides them, people also worshiped other gods like the great Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis.  

Overnight  
Later on, you’ll transfer to Luxor Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. When you arrive, you’ll be taken to your 4-star hotel for overnight.

Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa  
The Catacombs are really quite unique as there is only one of its kind in all of Egypt. This necropolis dates to the 2nd century AD and it manages to blend the artistic elements of Hellenistic and Roman, with that ancient Egyptian Pharaonic design in a way that feels, honestly, ultimate , breathtaking and amazing. Inside you will find a large collection of impressive Greek and Roman artifacts and decorations within its three- level stories, which is why it earned the title of one of the seven wonders of the Middle Ages.

Pompey's Pillar  
Pompey's Pillar stands at a height of 28 m, and it is 2.7 m wide made of pure red granite, and on its western upper side is a Greek inscription dedicated to Emperor Diocletian. The pillar is well known for being the largest monolith column ever built outside Rome. It got the name Pompey’s pillar, because in the Middle Ages the Crusaders mistakenly thought that the remains of the great Roman general Pompey were stored, in a pot, right at the top.

Qaitbay Citadel  
Qaitbay Citadel is a beautiful mix of Islamic architecture with a genuine Mediterranean vibe. It was built in 1477 by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf Al-Din Qa'it Bay, on top of the legendary lighthouse of Alexandria , using stones salvaged from it. That lighthouse was the third-longest surviving wonder in the ancient world until it was damaged by earthquakes between 956 AD and 1323 AD. Qaitbay Citadel is quite famous, as some believe it still keeps an immortal, shining spirit of the Alexandria Lighthouse, and it includes phenomenal designs for the Islamic era.

Overnight

Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo for the overnight.
