Cairo & Luxor Christmas and New Year Holiday

As soon as you arrive in magical Egypt, our New Travel Dynamics staff member will meet you at Cairo airport. He will guide you through your passport steps and handle your luggage identification and carry-on. Then you will be taken to your 5-star hotel in a private air-conditioned car.

After check-in, you can relax and get ready for your Cairo Luxor Christmas tour, an exciting holiday journey through Egypt’s ancient wonders.

Dinner time  
That night, your Christmas tour in Egypt starts with a dinner cruise on the Nile. While you enjoy the ride, you can relax and watch a bright belly dance act. There is also a folklore band, plus the Tannoura spin, which fits the whirling dervishes style often seen in Egypt.

Overnight  
Later, you will be brought back to your hotel for the night.

After breakfast start your Christmas vacation Cairo and Luxor with a day of sightseeing at the Giza Pyramids Complex. This is one of Egypt’s famous ancient landmarks. You will explore the Great Pyramid of Khufu. This is the pyramid at Giza. It is one of the impressive achievements of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Next you will visit the Great Sphinx. This massive statue has the body of a lion and the head traditionally linked to Pharaoh Khafre. You will also see the Valley Temple. This is a part of the ancient funerary complex.

Throughout your visit your expert Egyptologist guide will share stories. These stories are about the pharaohs, temples and rituals of Egypt. You will learn about the history and culture in a way that makes it come alive.

After the sightseeing enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. The food will be fresh and full of flavor. It is a way to end the morning and prepare for the rest of the day.

Then return to your hotel in Cairo. The evening is yours to relax. You can unwind, enjoy the views or simply rest. This is your time to prepare for the part of your Christmas holiday in Egypt.

You will spend the night in Cairo. This is the ending, to a full and exciting day.

After breakfast and check‑out I will guide you on your Cairo Luxor Christmas tour. The first stop is the Egyptian Museum in the heart of Cairo. The Egyptian Museum holds a collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and monuments that show thousands of years of history. After the museum we will eat lunch at a local restaurant. Then we will visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization displays Egyptian artifacts and will let you see the Royal Mummies Hall. Finally we will walk along Al‑Muizz Street, an area that has beautiful Islamic architecture, traditional houses and charming local cafés.

Next we continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of Cairo’s famous traditional markets. Khan El Khalili Bazaar has an atmosphere, many shops and local crafts.

At the end of the day we will take you to Cairo Airport for your flight, to Luxor. When you arrive in Luxor, the New Travel Dynamics representative will greet you. Help you move to your five‑star hotel in Luxor. In Luxor you will stay overnight.

On Day Four of your Cairo Luxor Christmas and New Year tour you will start the day with breakfast at your hotel. After you finish you will check out. Meet your private Egyptologist guide. Together you will spend a day exploring Luxor.

Begin your journey at the Valley of the Kings the royal necropolis of Egypt’s New Kingdom. At the Valley of the Kings you can explore tombs that are decorated with ancient artwork and inscriptions.

Next visit the Temple of Hatshepsut. The Temple of Hatshepsut was built to honor the god Amun and to commemorate the legacy of Queen Hatshepsut.

After that stop at the Colossi of Memnon. The Colossi of Memnon are two ancient statues that once stood at the entrance of Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple.

Afterward enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Nile. You will have lunch on an island. Then you will continue to the Karnak Temple Complex, which is one of the largest religious sites of ancient Egypt.

At the Karnak Temple Complex you will explore halls, courtyards, columns and ancient monuments. Your Luxor sightseeing will come to an end soon.

In the evening you will be transferred to Luxor Airport. There you will fly back, to Cairo. You will then enjoy a stay and rest after an unforgettable day of exploring ancient Egypt.

After breakfast at the hotel, your representative will take you to the airport. They will help you with the final departure steps. This ends your 5 day Egypt Christmas holiday.
