Itinerary

Day 1:
Luxor West Bank Tour

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise at Luxor and transfer you by a modern vehicle with air condition to enjoy visiting the West Bank. Visit the majestic Ramesseum that served as the mortuary temple of the Great Pharaoh Ramesses II; explore its courts and colossal pillars and know the brilliant reliefs on it describing the success of one of the greatest pharaohs in Egypt.

Continue visiting the beautiful Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramesses III and a unique temple with well-preserved colorful carvings and huge architecture. Then, admire the colossal statue at the Colossi of Memnon which are two huge stone figures of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who had stood sentinel at the Theban Necropolis for over 3,000 years.

Explore the Valley of the Nobles, whose beautifully decorated tombs once housed officials, governors, and wealthy nobles provide interesting glimpses into Egyptian life. You will find yourself amazed by the famous Tomb of Sennefer, or the Tomb of the Vines; its unique ceiling covered in vines and colorful designs has remained intact for over three thousand years.

See the ancient village of Deir el-Medina; home and burial site for the workers who carved out the tombs for the royalty. Here, you will discover the lives of the artisans, as well as their spectacular tombs. Then you will continue to Thutmose III's Mortuary Temple; a temple of Amun constructed at the location of the Temple of Hatshepsut.

Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch at a local restaurant, featuring a full meal and a chance to relax before continuing your tour.

After completing your visits, transfer back to your hotel or Nile cruise with unforgettable memories of Luxor’s hidden archaeological treasures.
