Itinerary

Day 1:
Giza Pyramids Tour to the Pyramids, Memphis, and Saqqara

When you are in Cairo our representative will meet you to start a tour of the Giza Pyramids. Your day will begin in the morning with a tour guide. This guide will take you to the Giza Necropolis area in an air-conditioned vehicle. At the Giza Necropolis you will see pyramids that were built for the kings of the 4th dynasty during the old kingdom of ancient Egyptian history.

Your guide will tell you all about the religion in Egypt. This was a part of the life of ancient Egyptians. You will hear about this while standing below the 4500 years pyramid of King Cheops. This pyramid was made using 2.3 million blocks of limestone. They were put together in a way to show how great Egypt was at that time.

Then you will go to the plateau to see the 3 pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus. Your guide will take photos of you. You might be holding the pyramid in your hands. Riding camels in the Giza pyramids. This will remind you of the moments during your tours in Egypt.

You can also choose to go on a camel riding tour in the Giza pyramids. You will ride a camel. Hike the hills. You can take shots of the pyramids from the top.

The Giza Pyramids tour will also include a visit to the Valley Temple of King Chephren. This is where his body was mummified before burial. You will also see the Great Sphinx. This is a figure with the body of a lion and the head of a man. Your tour guide will tell you interesting facts about the idea of the sphinxes in Egypt.

Next you will go to the Saqqara Necropolis. You will see the Step Pyramid of King Zoser. This was the pyramid to be built entirely out of stone steps. It was built 47 centuries ago. After that you will go to Memphis city. You will see a collection of statues of King Ramses II and other artifacts. These date back to the kingdom and the new kingdom of ancient Egypts history. You will have a gourmet lunch during your tours, in Giza. After you finish your tour to Giza Pyramids, Saqqara and Memphis.
