Itinerary

Day :

Get picked up from where you want in Cairo or Giza. Then ride in a cooled vehicle to Wadi El Hitan in Fayoum. When you arrive, spend some time walking around. Look around the valley and take in the views.

Wadi El Hitan
Wadi El Hitan is a UNESCO World Heritage area. The name means “Valley of Whales.” You can see old whale fossils there, and the whole place feels truly amazing.

With your guide, go over key points of evolution. Keep an eye out for animals that live in this region, like the African wildcat and the Egyptian mongoose, roaming across the open Egyptian desert.

Next comes dune bashing in a 4x4. You will bounce over the sand for about 1.5 hours. After that, try sandboarding. Strap the board on and slide down from the top of a dune.

Then slow down with a camel ride. Sit back and watch the desert stretch out in every direction. The quiet scenery feels special, like something you would only see in a painting.

Lunch time
Head to the Bedouin camp for a barbecue lunch.

After your tour, return to your hotel or chosen spot in Cairo or Giza. Leave with stories and strong memories from the safari.
