Day :

Begin your day with a calm start for a trip into Ancient Egypt. Meet your own Egypt guide early in the morning. Then ride with us for about 4 hours in a clean deluxe air conditioned car. We will take you from Cairo to El Minya. Along the way, you will stop for the following visits.

Tel el Amarna  
This was the city of Akhenaton. It served as a main center during his rule. Tel el Amarna was built in 1363 BC. Akhenaton brought attention to one god and asked people across Egypt to honor Aten, the sun god. After this, he shifted the capital from Thebes to the new city at Amarna.

Beni Hassan tombs  
These are burial tombs from the Middle Kingdom era. Beni Hassan became a resting place for several of El Minya’s officials. The site includes 39 real tombs that travelers come to see from many countries.

Lunch  
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in El Minya.

After lunch, we head back to Cairo. We will transfer you to your hotel.
