Depart for El Alamein city, which is on the North Coast of Egypt. Upon arrival, begin with a visit to the El Alamein War Museum, which discusses World War II and what happened during the war on the land of El Alamein City. Then, go to the El Alamein War Cemetery to pay respects to those who died during World War II.
Then back to Alexandria to visit the Kom el Shoqafa Catacombs in Alexandria and see the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was constructed to replace the ancient Alexandrian lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, and is situated at the westernmost tip of Pharos Island in Alexandria.
Between visits, a full meal at a nearby restaurant is offered for lunch; however, beverages are not.
Then proceed to the Sidi Morsi Abu al-Abbas Mosque, which is Alexandria's oldest and largest mosque.
