Itinerary

Day 1:
arrival

Your tour leader will meet you at Cairo International Airport as soon as you arrive, then escort you in a private A/C vehicle to your hotel in the Capital of Egypt, Cairo. After that, we’ll help you with all the check-in formalities, and sort of revise together your Cairo day tours plan for the next few days too.

Day 2:
Pyramids, Dahshour

On the morning of the second day, after breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will escort you in a private vehicle to kick off your day tour in Cairo. We’ll start near the Great pyramids area where you can see the three great pyramids—Khufu, Khafra, and Mankawra; also the Valley temple, and the Great Sphinx.

Then we will make a quick lunch break at a nearby restaurant before you get transferred, together with your guide, to Dahshour so you can explore the area and spot all its monuments, and after that we continue straight to Memphis. At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 3:
Alexandria day tour

On the third day, you will have a kind of day tour in Alexandria , maybe you could say. We will meet you at your hotel in the morning and accompany you to Alexandria, where you will see The Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa , dating back to the first half of the second century.

After that, we will transfer you to the Citadel of Qaitbay. It was built near the spot where the Lighthouse of Alexandria used to be, and with the view of the beautiful sea right there in front of you overlooking the Mediterranean, it feels very peaceful. Then you will visit the Alexandria Bibliotheca (it is really huge) before enjoying a delicious lunch and returning back to Cairo.

Day 4:
Back to Cairo

On the fourth day , you will be moved to the NMEC, where it gather all the signs and manifestations of the richness as well as the variety that Egyptian civilization had in different eras before having a lunch meal and later heading toward Coptic Cairo.

Once you reach Coptic Cairo, you will have the chance to visit the Hanging Church and also the church of St Sergius. It was built above the crypt where Jesus Christ, and his mother, along with St Joseph the carpenter, stayed for almost 3 months. And last of all, you will come across the Ben Ezra Synagogue. That place was established before the 9th century and later it became a Jewish synagogue after serving as a Coptic Church for decades.

At the end of your tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 5:
The White desert

Start off your fifth day of your White Desert Tour from Cairo by transferring to Bahariya Oasis, about four hours away from Cairo.  

You will wander through the Museum of Golden Mummies, the mummies were found in huge burial grounds, dating back to the Greco Roman era, and in that same place the ruins of a Temple to Alexander the Great were also noticed. You will also get to see the Tombs of the Nobles , meaning the rulers of the region during the 26th dynasty. At the end, you will do some sightseeing at the Temple of Muftella, which is devoted to the god Bis and was built by the Egyptian Pharaohs.  

Then We will take you for a delicious Egyptian cuisine lunch in an Oasis style restaurant, and yes it should feel like a whole different experience for you. After that, we will continue to the White Desert, for a special White Desert Safari Cairo. On the route, we will pass by the Valley of El Haize, to the south of the oasis, and perhaps we stop there to see the water spring, if there is enough time. It is a green village in the middle of the desert, right before the black desert.  

Later, stop to see the quartz crystal formations from a remote age at Crystal Mountain, then the beautiful shapes and petrified wood in the Valley of Agabat, where you are going to feel the thrill of sandboarding down the massive sand dunes.  

We will enjoy camping in the White Desert, with a special chance to catch an amazing sunset view while your local guides prepare your dinner. Then we transfer you back to the hotel for overnight.  

You will spend your night watching the spectacular stars, clearly away from the pollution of the bigger cities. In the next morning you will wake up to the most beautiful scene, the rising sun over the White Desert.

Day 6:
Transfer The White desert

On the sixth day, breakfast will be served in the White Desert, while you are enjoying that incredible atmosphere and all the quiet magic around you. Then you will resume your trip to see the works of the desert nearby plus the springs, and you will try to catch some photos of those gorgeous white limestone rocks—like the chicken formation, the rock that looks like the sphinx, the whale carved into the rock, and that rabbit-like hill. After that, you will be transferred to Cairo, passing by the Black Desert, an area of charming mountains covered with small black volcanic rocks.

Before heading back to Cairo, we will stop in Bahariya to visit the salt lake, and see the fruit gardens along with the lovely sand dunes. Then we will start our almost 4 hours drive back to your Cairo hotel.

Day 7:
Departure

On the very last day of your Egypt Safari desert tours, we will transfer you, in the morning, to the airport so you can catch your flight back home.
