Then you will go for the Giza Pyramids tour to see the gigantic structure known as the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, built during the 4th dynasty of Egyptian history (about 4500 years ago) by the son of Snefru, Cheops from the Old Kingdom. It took the efforts of almost 20 years of hard work to reach such a height, to become the tallest building in the world until the construction of the Lincoln Cathedral in 1311 A.D.

The day is full of antiquities from the past , with unforgettable visits to the Valley Temple of King Chephren, the Pyramid of Mycerinus, and the Great Sphinx. After exploring the area of the Giza plateau, you will be transferred to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, yes the Grand Egyptian Museum tour. This museum houses more than 120,000 artifacts. Luxor East Bank Tours

After breakfast on board the boat, we will arrive in Luxor, the biggest open-air museum in the world, full of monuments that come from very ancient civilizations. The Luxor region of Upper Egypt was known as Thebes for the ancient Egyptians, and it was also the capital of Egypt in both the Middle Kingdom and the New Kingdom. On the eastern side you’ll find the modern city of Luxor, and there is the Luxor Temple, of course.

At the northern end of town lies the immense Karnak Temple complex, which was built about 4055 years ago. It is especially noted for its grand hypostyle hall, with 134 massive columns, so even if you’re not into history you’ll still feel small in a good way.

You can start exploring the ruins from the first pylon, and then you’ll basically have this quiet trip back in time. Along the way, we will walk by means of an avenue bordered on both sides by sphinxes, and that’s where we will visit the Luxor Temple again, yes, one of the grandest worship places on earth, constructed by King Amenhotep III.

We’ll return to the cruise ship once our Luxor east bank visits are finished.
