Giza Pyramids Complex
The Giza pyramid area is an old open site that is over 4500 years. People call it a museum in the open. It sits on the blessed lands of Giza. You can see three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.
The Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid of Khufu was built around 2600 BC. It was made as his final home. Later, it became the only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The height is about 147 meters. The structure is said to weigh around six million tons. Inside, there are several inner rooms and halls.
The Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx is the largest man made statue known. It was carved for Pharaoh Khafre, dated to 2558 to 2532 BC. Many view it as a sign of strong rule and wise power. There is also the Thutmose IV dream stele. It was found between the paws of the Sphinx.
The Valley Temple
The Valley Temple dates to the early Old Kingdom, from 2686 to 2134 BC. It links to royal rites for mummification and cleansing. The goal was to help turn members of the royal family into figures meant to last forever.
The Grand Egyptian Museum
The Grand Egyptian Museum will let you step into 5,000 years of history. You will see the skills, beliefs, and lasting mark of ancient Egypt. It is built near the Great Pyramids of Giza and covers almost 490,000 square meters. The GEM plan includes a major conservation center in the Middle East. There will also be research rooms and places for learning. Visitors can look at famous pieces like the Hanging Obelisk. You can also see the 11-meter statue of Ramses II. The museum will show the full set of more than 5,000 items tied to Tutankhamun.

Al Muizz Street sits in the heart of Old Cairo. It was started in the 10th century AD under the Fatimid dynasty. The goal was to highlight the strong artistic style of the Islamic age. In 1979, the street was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar
Finish your day with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar. This golden bazaar began in 970 as an early stop in Old Cairo. Later, it turned into a busy place for shopping and entertainment. You can find notable goods and special items from across Egypt.
