After enjoying a delicious, wholesome breakfast at your hotel, your personal guide takes you, kind of right away to the Giza Plateau, to begin your journey while you marvel at one of the Seven Wonders of the World : the Great Pyramids of Giza. You’ll visit the iconic Sphinx, and the Valley Temple too. After the pyramid stop, you go for lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant, then you head to the New Grand Egyptian Museum , Egypt’s newest landmark, sitting just two kilometers from the pyramids. It is also one of the world’s largest and most advanced archaeological museums , with more than 100,000 artifacts covering 5,000 years, including the full Tutankhamun collection shown together for the first time. Finally, return back to your hotel

So, today you’re gonna be leaving Cairo and kind of heading out toward the colorful cheerful vibe of Aswan. You’ll meet your tour guide very early in the morning at your hotel, where he will   accompany you to Cairo Airport, to catch your flight to Aswan. Once you land in Aswan, you’ll be welcomed, then whisked away in a private air-conditioned vehicle to see the grand Philae Temple, dedicated to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor, along with the huge Unfinished Obelisk, still laying on its side inside the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. After all that, you’ll travel back to your hotel in Aswan.

After what feels like a really delicious breakfast at your hotel, your tour guide will come and get you from the lobby , so you can board a modern , air- conditioned coach for a trip with a small group to the spectacular Temples of Abu Simbel. The two Temples of Abu Simbel were built by Ramses II, and because of their special look they’re often seen as the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They really show the glory and grandeur of the New Kingdom, in a way that sticks with you.

The Egyptian government, together with UNESCO, decided to co-operate, so these two temples could be rescued from the flood that was threatening to submerge them because of the Aswan Dam.

The Temples of Abu Simbel are devoted to the four universal gods: Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and also to Ramses II himself. The big Temple of Ramses II is sometimes referred to as the Sun Temple of Ramesses II. Meanwhile the Temple of Queen Nefertari is also known as the Temple of Hathor, and Hathor was the wife of the Sun God. In other words, in a symbolic manner, the two temples, the one dedicated to Ramesses II and the one dedicated to Nefertari, bring together Ramses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God as if they are one united set.

Once the visit finishes, you’ll be guided to board your luxurious cruise, the Salacia Nile cruise, here in Aswan.

Enjoy your first, breakfast on board your cruise as you sail toward Kom Ombo, feel that Nil​e breeze while eating, and just let the morning slide by. You’ll then touch down on the shores of Kom Ombo and walk around the town among the locals until you reach the odd, Kom Ombo temple, with its two identical entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries.

After that visit you head back to your cruise, where you will enjoy a tasty lunch while sailing onward to your second stop of the day, Edfu.  

When you arrive, go out and see Edfu Temple, which is considered one of the best-preserved temples from the Greco Roman era , dedicated to Horus at Edfu. Expect a truly grand experience, as you take a horse-drawn carriage ride back and forth to the temple, and you can marvel at Upper Egypt’s daily, local life. You’ll pass through the unhurried rhythm of rural living, local farmers and fishermen included. Then take in the lush, fertile scenery—banana and date palm trees are everywhere, almost like a green mosaic.

After finishing up in Edfu return to your cruise. Enjoy some afternoon tea , and then take a calm ride to Esna. As evening comes in, have a warm, delicious dinner while surrounded by the Nile River’s quiet, serene water.

Begin your day with a really mouth- watering breakfast while you glide toward Luxor. Once you arrive, you’ll step out and start wandering through that bright, almost shiny city of Luxor. At first, make your way to the West Bank and there you’ll see the Royal Cemetery for 62 pharaohs. After that, continue on to the Valley of the Kings, and then go onward to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. That temple was laid out by the builders of the New Kingdom, during the 15th century BCE, at Deir El-Bahari. Wrap up the afternoon by standing in awe of the towering Colossi of Memnon.

When you’re done with the West Bank, head back onto your cruise, and just relax. Let yourself enjoy the great features of the ship, maybe an afternoon tea, or book a massage. You can even let the day melt away by de-stressing in the Jacuzzi, it’s surprisingly refreshing. Finish everything with a delicious dinner served on board.

Have your last morning aboard the cruise and enjoy yet another tasty breakfast while you sit there with calm Nile waters around you, like really quiet and steady. After breakfast, you will disembark the cruise and close out the Nile journey. From there, your tour guide will stay with you and guide you to your final stop on the trip, the East Bank. When you reach the area, you will visit the ancient Karnak Temple then Luxor Temple. After you finish at Luxor , you’ll be whisked through the streets of Luxor straight to Luxor Airport so you can catch your flight back to Cairo. Once you land, you’ll be greeted and then transferred to your hotel, for your last night in the Land of Pharaohs.
