After a really nice, wholesome Egyptian breakfast, you ll have your own personal guide taking you over to the Giza Plateau, and that s where your journey starts. You ll be standing there, marveling at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, yes, the Great Pyramids of Giza. Then you can wander around the Plateau a bit, and pop by the famous Sphinx along with the Valley Temple too. When you finish your time at the Pyramids, you ll head out for lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant. After that , it s on to the Sakkara district where you ll see the Sakkara Complex and also the very first pyramid ever built, the Djoser Pyramid.

After breakfast, the first stop will be The New Grand Egyptian Museum  — Egypt’s newest landmark, located just two kilometers from the pyramids. There, you’ll see more than 100,000 artifacts spanning 5,000 years and, yes, the whole Tutankhamun collection will be displayed together for the very first time. 

Then you’ll head out for lunch at a really authentic Egyptian restaurant. Afterward, you’ll go over to the Egyptian Museum, right in the middle of historic Downtown Cairo , with a view across the notorious Tahrir Square. Once you’ve truly relished the magnificent ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures, you’ll simply return back to your hotel.

Visits: Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), Egyptian Museum.

Today, you will be leaving Cairo and head out towards the shining city of Luxor. You’ll meet your tour guide nice and early in the morning at your hotel, where he will accompany you to Cairo International Airport for the trip over to Luxor. Then, when you land in Luxor, you’ll be assisted quickly and whisked away in a special, air conditioned vehicle to start your dahabiya, Eyaru Dahabiya, at noon on the West Bank. Once you’re on Eyaru, you get to experience that Pharaohs’ Paradise lifestyle while you sail along the Nile. Eyaru is, pretty much, the most luxurious dahabiya out there. It takes you through special routes and offers you a real look at everyday life for the locals.

You can enjoy a tasty lunch, freshly prepared on board, as you cruise towards the East Bank. There you will visit the grand Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. After the visits, you return back to your dahabiya, then enjoy dinner with nothing but the calm, serene water of the Nile around you.

So… enjoy your first morning meal on board while you’re floating around those calm stretches of water along the Nile. After breakfast head out to see the West Bank of Luxor, and don’t rush things too much, ok? You’ll stop by the Royal Cemetery with 62 Pharaohs, then continue to the Valley of the Kings. From there, move on to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, that place was planned by the New Kingdom architects in the 15th century BCE, at Deir El-Bahari. Later, finish the whole circuit as you stand there and stare up at the towering Colossi of Memnon.

Once your visits on the West Bank are done, you go right back to the cruise. Then you start sailing again, and you’ll have a delicious lunch on board. Spend the rest of the day cruising and unwinding, make use of the great on board amenities, sip afternoon tea, get a massage, and let yourself de-stress in the Jacuzzi. Wrap it all up with a satisfying dinner on board too.

Cross the Esna Lock nice and early in the morning while you eat your first breakfast onboard your dahabiya, and yeah… look around at those picturesque views. After breakfast, you’ll go off to visit the stunning Esna Temple. Once you’ve done that, head back to your dahabiya, where you can spend the day sailing leisurely and just relaxing till the moment you reach your next adventure. In the afternoon, pause for tea and sip it slowly as the scenery drifts by in front of you. Have a freshly prepared, delicious lunch and then dinner o board, all the while sailing on the Nile waters around you.

Enjoy yet another, kind of appetizing breakfast on board as you are gliding toward your next stop, Edfu. Once you arrive, just head out to visit Edfu Temple, which is considered one of the best preserved temples from the Greco Roman era, the one devoted to Horus at Edfu, with those two beautiful granite statues of the falcon god Horus standing up over the entrance as you walk in.

Have a truly magnificent moment, like genuinely, as you take a horse-drawn carriage ride back and forth to the temple, and just marvel at Upper Egypt’s local life. You’ll pass through the slow paced rural rhythm where farmers and fishermen are going about their days. After you return to your dahabiya, you will start sailing again. Then, immerse yourself in those lush fertile landscapes, dotted with banana trees and date palm groves, while you have lunch and sail onward to your next stop.

When you reach Bassawa Island, head out and walk among the lovely locals there. You can actually get to meet a local family and spend time inside their home, where you’re introduced to how they live day to day. Then you can go check their farm, chat with the kids, and, for the day, live like a true Egyptian. 

Afterwards, return back to your dahabiya once you’ve said goodbye to the wonderful family, and enjoy a hearty dinner in that atmospheric setting.

Have another delicious breakfast on board your luxurious dahabiya as you gently sail towards today’s destination, Gebel Silsela , kinda calm, kinda bright. When you reach the ancient quarries of Silsela , you can go and see the mystical rock-cut Temple of Hormoheb, then sort of hike up to the top of Silsela Mountain, and just take in that truly breathtaking view, you know, the whole scene.

After that, return to your dahabiya and settle in for a peaceful sail to your next stop, Kom Ombo, with a freshly prepared lunch waiting for you.

Touch down on the Kom Ombo shores in the afternoon, then wander through the town of Kom Ombo among the locals until you arrive at the unusual Kom Ombo Temple, with its two identical entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries. Once you finish the visit, head back to your dahabiya where you’ll enjoy an appetizing dinner while sailing to Aswan.

Take in yet another scrumptious breakfast onboard while you glide toward the vibrant city of Aswan. When you get there, well just step out and spend the day doing sightseeing in this lovely place, and you will also meet the friendliest local folks. First you’ll see the huge Unfinished Obelisk, still lying on its side in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, which is really something. Then it’s on to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor, and yes it’s just as striking as people say. After all that wandering, you’ll return to your dahabiya and enjoy a tasty dinner right there in the middle of the Nile, with the calm surrounding waters all around you.

Start your day with a mouth-watering breakfast on board, like really, take your time. After breakfast you can have a free day for wandering around the streets of the beautiful city of Aswan. You know, meeting and chatting with the locals, slipping into the market, or going to the Nubian village and taking those most instagrammable photos with colorful houses, everywhere.  

Or if you feel like something else, you can go out on a trip to the spectacular Temples of Abu Simbel, UNESCO site style. They were built by Ramses II, and the two temples of Abu Simbel with their special look are often seen as the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They show the glory and the grandeur of the New Kingdom, very clearly.  

No matter if you pick a free day in Aswan or the Abu Simbel detour, once your visits are done, you will return to your dahabiya. There, you can enjoy a tasty lunch and dinner on board, surrounded by calm Nile waters, kinda peaceful like that.

It’s the last day of your big grand adventure across the marvelous lands and waters of enchanted Egypt. Take time to enjoy your last scrumptious breakfast on board, then you’ll disembark, and get transferred to Aswan Airport for your final departure through Cairo International Airport.
