Road to The Nile at Christmas & New Year Holidays
An 8-day Nile trip is a good way to change up your holiday plans and spend Christmas in Egypt. You start in Cairo. You will see the Pyramids and the Sphinx. You will also visit other key sites from ancient times and from later years.
After that, you leave Cairo and board a 5-star Nile cruise. On the boat, you will learn a lot about ancient Egypt. You will visit tombs and temples.
Next, you will go down into the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Then you will visit the Karnak Temple complex, which is huge. From Luxor you will travel along the Nile to Aswan, with more stops along the way.

Eat a good breakfast at your hotel. Then meet your guide and head to the Giza Plateau. Your day starts with the Great Pyramids of Giza. These are one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Next, see the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Take your time and look around.
After the pyramid visits, you will have lunch at a real Egyptian restaurant. Later, go to the New Grand Egyptian Museum. Many people call it the Giza Museum.
This museum sits about two kilometres from the Giza Pyramids. It is among the biggest archaeological museums around. It also uses modern methods. Inside, you can find more than 100,000 items. They cover 5,000 years.
You can also see the full Tutankhamun collection. It is shown together for the first time. The museum uses a fresh design. There are hands-on displays too. The views of the Giza Plateau are impressive.
When the tour ends, you will return to your hotel.
