Have an adventurous holiday this New Year, by setting off on our Christmas Nile cruise tour. Spend your days follow the footsteps of pharaohs, and your nights just unwind on one of DWA and Mövenpick Royal cruises. You’ll meander between towering temple columns, then slip down into hidden ornately painted tombs of long-gone kings. Day 1:

Landing in Aswan and a quick greeting, then maybe a bit of confusion at first. We do the transfer, go to the cruise ship, and check in. After that we head toward Lake Nasser, where it feels pretty calm, even if the day is moving.
Next stop, the ancient granite quarries, and the Unfinished Obelisk. A boat ride follows, plus we pay a visit to the Temple of Philae, very quiet in some corners.
Dinner comes later, along with evening entertainment, not exactly elegant but enjoyable. Overnight stays in Aswan.

Day 2:
Kom Ombo & Edfu

Sail toward Kom Ombo.
Kom Ombo Temple and also the crocodile museum, kinda fascinating.
Lunch on board then continue cruising to Edfu.
Horus Temple at Edfu, don’t rush, there’s a lot to see.
Later in the afternoon have tea, and sail on to Esna.
Dinner , plus some evening entertainment.
Overnight stay in Esna.
Meals include: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Go on a sail to Luxor, then reach the Luxor Temple , it’s quite something. After that, spend some time at the Karnak Temple complex and wander around a bit. Later we’ll have dinner then evening entertainment, relaxed style. You’ll stay overnight in Luxor, of course. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
