Itinerary

Day 1:
Explore Aswan's High Dam and Philae Temple

Start your Nile cruise adventure with boarding before lunch, so you have a bit of time to check into your cabin and then just unwind while you get ready for an unforgettable trip along the Nile River. Later, in the afternoon, go out and discover Aswan’s highlights, including the impressive High Dam, which counts as one of Egypt’s greatest engineering achievements. The High Dam was built to regulate the Nile’s waters and to produce hydroelectric power, but it also gives spectacular panoramic views over Lake Nasser.

After that, your exploring continues with a scenic motorboat ride to the charming Philae Temple, devoted to the goddess Isis. The temple sits on calm Agilkia Island, and it is beautifully preserved, admired for detailed carvings, refined architecture, and those peaceful surroundings too. This is why it remains one of Aswan’s most iconic and captivating ancient landmarks.

Day 2:
Abu Simbel Excursion & Kom Ombo Temple Tour

Start your day with an early morning excursion, if you want, to Abu Simbel by road or a domestic flight (both are possible, but the flight costs extra). You will see the magnificent temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, carved into tall sandstone cliffs, looking over Lake Nasser. These UNESCO-listed monuments are well known for their outstanding architecture, and they were carefully moved away to prevent damage from flooding after the High Dam was built. Once you are done, get back to your Nile cruise and sail north toward Kom Ombo, while you take in the calm river scenery.

In the afternoon, go and discover the special Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Look closely at the impressive carvings and the ancient medical inscriptions, and then visit the nearby Crocodile Museum. Inside, you will find well-preserved mummified crocodiles; they help explain ancient Egyptian religion and everyday culture in a very interesting way.

Day 3:
Edfu Temple and Luxor Sightseeing Tour

Begin your morning with a traditional horse cart ride to the magnificent Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is one of the best-preserved temples in ancient Egypt. It was devoted to the falcon deity Horus, and the temple has impressive columns, finely carved scenes, plus hidden sacred chambers that vividly show the legendary clash between Horus and Seth. After that visit, head back to the cruise, then sail toward Luxor, and during the trip enjoy lunch on board with the lovely Nile views.

In the afternoon, step into the remarkable Karnak Temple Complex, also the largest religious site in ancient Egypt. People remember it for its colossal statues, its sacred lake, and the famous Great Hypostyle Hall, with 134 towering columns, lined up lavishly. Finish the day at Luxor Temple, where glowing statues, obelisks, and open courtyards feel truly unforgettable when sunset arrives.

Day 4:
Visit the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple

After breakfast on board, check out from your Nile cruise and set off to explore Luxor’s West Bank iconic treasures. First head to the Valley of the Kings, that ancient burial place where Egypt’s pharaohs were laid to rest. There you’ll visit three beautifully adorned royal tombs, and you can also go inside the famous Tomb of Tutankhamun for an extra fee.

Then continue onward to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural marvel carved right into towering limestone cliffs, and dedicated to Egypt’s most influential female ruler. Finally, arrive at the Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have kept watch over the Theban necropolis for more than 3,000 years, and they make a memorable ending for your unforgettable Nile cruise trip.
