Itinerary

Day 1:
Aswan Highlights – High Dam, Philae Temple & Unfinished Obelisk

Begin your journey in Aswan with embarkation before lunch aboard your Nile River cruise in Egypt. The Luxor and Aswan Nile cruise begins when you enter your cabin and experience your first activities aboard the ship.

The afternoon tour begins at the Aswan High Dam which serves as the first stop for visitors. The tour continues to the Temple of Philae which is a beautiful island temple that honors Goddess Isis. The tour proceeds to the Unfinished Obelisk which exists at the site of ancient granite quarries.

Day 2:
Abu Simbel (Optional) & Kom Ombo Temple – Nile Cruise Egypt

Enjoy breakfast before an optional excursion to Abu Simbel Temples, which stands as one of Egypt's most famous sites because it contains the majestic temples dedicated to Ramses II and Queen Nefertari.

The Nile cruise to Kom Ombo begins after you return to your Egypt Nile cruise. The Temple of Kom Ombo, which presents a fascinating experience, operates as a double temple which honors Sobek and Horus, and it serves as a central attraction between Aswan and Luxor on Nile cruises.

Day 3:
Edfu Temple & Luxor East Bank

Begin your day in Edfu by visiting the stunning Temple of Horus which stands as one of Egypt's most intact temples and serves as a mandatory stop for all Nile River cruises through Egypt. 

Return onboard and sail toward Luxor while enjoying lunch.  The afternoon will include a visit to the East Bank which features both the expansive Karnak Temple Complex and the famous Luxor Temple.

Day 4:
Luxor West Bank – Disembarkation

After breakfast Visit the Valley of the Kings, where you will explore the royal tombs of ancient pharaohs hidden in the desert hills. Three tombs are included, with optional entry to Tutankhamun's tomb (extra cost).

Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning structure built into limestone cliffs, honoring Egypt's most powerful female pharaoh.

Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two majestic statues of Amenhotep III that once stood at the entrance of a massive mortuary temple.
