The most frequent questions people may ask about, read the following questions about Egypt tours that may answer a question in your mind.
A Dahabiya Nile cruise is a traditional-style sailing journey on the Nile aboard a small, elegant vessel inspired by the royal boats used in Egypt during the 19th century. It offers a slower, more private way to explore the Nile Valley.
Unlike large motorized Nile cruise ships, Dahabiyas are smaller, quieter, and more intimate. They provide a relaxed sailing experience, fewer passengers, personalized service, and access to smaller villages and hidden historical sites.
Most Dahabiya boats accommodate a limited number of guests, usually between 8 and 24 passengers. This creates a peaceful atmosphere with more personal attention from the crew.
Most Dahabiya cruises sail between Luxor and Aswan, with itineraries that include famous temples as well as lesser-known locations along the Nile that larger ships cannot always reach.
Depending on the itinerary, guests may visit sites such as Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo Temple, Philae Temple, and smaller archaeological sites along the riverbanks.
A Dahabiya is ideal for travelers seeking privacy, authenticity, and a slower pace. The experience focuses more on relaxation, cultural interaction, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Nile.
Yes. Most Dahabiya cruises include full-board dining with freshly prepared meals. Many focus on quality Egyptian and international cuisine using fresh local ingredients.
Yes. Their private atmosphere, romantic sailing experience, and scenic Nile views make Dahabiyas a popular choice for couples looking for a unique Egyptian getaway.
A Dahabiya cruise combines historic charm, luxury, and authentic travel. Instead of simply moving between attractions, guests experience the Nile itself—sailing quietly past villages, fields, temples, and timeless landscapes.
