Itinerary
Your 2 Days Cairo and Aswan Tour begins with a private pickup from your hotel in Cairo at 08:30 am. The day starts with a visit to the Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx which includes exploration of the Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos Pyramids while your guide shows you the construction methods used to build these ancient structures. Continue to Old Cairo where visitors to the historic Salah Eldeen Citadel can explore its three main attractions which include the grand Mohamed Ali Mosque and Al-Nasr Muhammad bin Qalawun Mosque and other museums located inside the citadel. The Khan El Khalili Bazaar offers a lively atmosphere where you can shop for various items including brassware and silver and gold and perfumes and leather and antiques and additional products. A local lunch will be provided to you during the day and your hotel will be your accommodation for an overnight stay in Cairo.
Meals Lunch
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo and transferred to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at the airport and begin your Aswan day tour by taking you to the Aswan High Dam which stands as one of Egypt's most significant contemporary engineering projects. The Philae Temple which sits on Agilkia Island will be reached through motorboat transportation which lets you discover one of Egypt's most beautiful temple complexes that honors the goddess Isis.
After that, enjoy a motorboat ride in the Nile to a colorful Nubian village on the west bank of the Nile. There, you will visit one of their traditional Nubian homes and taste authentic Nubian food. You will also see the famous crocodiles scurrying around and will take some memorable photos while experiencing the warmth of Nubian culture. The end of the tour will involve transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo followed by transfer to your hotel.
