A trained New Travel Dynamics guide will meet you at the Port Said cruise exit door. From there, you will head out to see the NMEC and the Pyramids.
When you reach Cairo, your day starts in Port Said. First, you will visit the Giza Necropolis. You will see the Great Pyramid of Cheops. This is the only pyramid still standing from the seven wonders of the ancient world. Next, you will view the pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinus. Chephren was the son of King Khufu. Mykerinus was among the strong rulers of the Old Kingdom.
You will also spend time at the NMEC. It has many mummies that Egypt showed during a major parade.
After that, you will go to see the Sphinx. The trip also includes a stop at the Valley Temple. You will visit it or the mummification temple of King Chephren, depending on the plan.
Then you will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will go to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. This museum sits in Fustat, the ancient part of Cairo. It holds about 50,000 items. It presents Egyptian civilization from early times to today.
At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your cruise in Port Said.
