Your tour guide will meet you at your cruise in Port Said. We will start the full-day trip with stops at the Giza area.
First, you will see the Great Pyramids. You will learn about Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.
Next, you will visit the Valley Temple. The priests mummified the body of King Chephren there. After that, you will get a close look at the Sphinx. It is the famous guardian with a lion body and the head of King Chephren. It stands beside the large funeral complex.
After those visits, you will pause for lunch at a local restaurant. Then you will continue to Saqqara.
Saqqara is about 27 km to the southwest of Cairo. You will visit the Step Pyramid built for King Zoser. This site is an important stage in how pyramids developed. It shows the shift from a simple mastaba to the form people recognize today.
Then you will head to Dahshur for the Dahshur Pyramids. You will see the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. The Dahshur area is a royal burial site in the desert on the west bank of the Nile. It is around 40 km south of Cairo. Two of the monuments here are among the oldest, biggest, and best kept in Egypt.
After that, you will visit Memphis City. This was an old capital of Egypt. You will see the large statue of Ramses II. You will also see the great alabaster Sphinx. Memphis City goes back to 3100 B.C.
When the tour ends, we will transfer you back to your cruise in Port Said.
