You will meet our tour leader at the port. They will take you to your own air-conditioned private car. Then we will drive you to Cairo.
First, we go to the Giza Pyramids. These tombs were built more than 4,500 years ago for the pharaohs of ancient Egypt. You will see the areas where the ancient people stored bodies and personal items. They believed these things would help them after death. The work took about a hundred years. They built these wonders with no modern tools.
Next, you can visit the Sphinx. It is a big limestone statue. It has the body of a lion and a human head. It looks over the Great Pyramid. The Sphinx was carved from one large piece of limestone. The builders made it as a guard. It was meant to protect the tombs and what was kept there.
You will also stop at the Valley Temple. This is where the pharaohs were prepared for burial. The Giza Pyramids Tour includes this site too.
After that, we head to the river. You can ride a sailboat or a Felucca. Take it slow and enjoy the ride. When the sun goes down, watch the sky over Cairo change colors. You can relax while you are on the boat. Bring your camera for photos of the green riverbanks.
Then we visit the National Museum in Cairo. It is one of the key museums in Egypt. It holds a wide set of objects. The exhibits show details about Egyptian civilization. You will also see many impressive artifacts there.
At the end, we return you to Port Said Port.
