Itinerary

Day 1:
Full-Day Tour Pyramids, Papyrus Institute from Port Said Port

A day around Cairo’s old landmarks feels like a time jump. You will see the stories left by ancient Egyptian kings, builders, and leaders. Some parts still feel hard to explain, even now.

First, your guide will meet you. They will also link up with your driver. You will travel in a clean, modern, private car. It is meant for your group and your family.

After that, you will meet a guide who knows the topic well. They will explain key events and help you understand what you see as you move through the sights.

Next, you will go to the nearby Sphinx. This landmark is carved from limestone. It has a lion body and a human head. You will hear the history and the legends people share about it. You can also take light, fun photos with the Sphinx and the pyramids so the day stays with you.

Then you will head to Sakkara. It sits about 27 kilometers to the southwest of Cairo. You will visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser. This site is seen as an important step in how pyramids changed. It moved from the earlier mastaba shape to the famous form people recognize today. It is also described as the first pyramids made on land.

After Sakkara, you will go to Memphis City. It is linked to the big Ramses II statue and the large Alabaster Sphinx. Memphis also used to be an older capital of ancient Egypt. The city dates back to around 3100 B.C.

Later, you will visit the Papyrus Institute. There you will learn about the old craft of making papyrus. You will watch how papyrus is made. You will also get a chance to try making your own.

For the day, you will stop for lunch at a good local restaurant nearby.

Finally, you will return to Port Said Port. From there, your tour will end. We hope you enjoyed the time at the pyramids and the Papyrus Institute. We hope to see you again soon.
