When your cruise ship docks at Port Said, a New Travel Dynamics guide will meet you there. The guide will stand near the exit and hold a card with your name. After that, you will go on a private trip to Cairo, with about three hours of travel each way in a cooled vehicle.
First, you will visit the Giza Pyramids area. You will see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. You will also learn how the pyramids were made. Next, you will view the Sphinx, with the head of a man and the body of a lion. Then you will stop at the Valley Temple, which is linked to the mummification of the pharaoh’s body.
After the Pyramids, your plan continues. You will take the Grand Egyptian Museum tour. This museum has a large set of Egyptian artifacts from many eras. Much of it is more than 6000 years old. You can see 250,000 works. The display includes items tied to the golden king Tutankhamen. If you still have time, you can also drive to Khan El Khalili. It is Cairo’s oldest bazaar.
When your day is done, your guide will bring you back to Port Said.
