Get ready for an overnight trip to Luxor. We will collect you from your hotel in Marsa Alam in a private, air-cooled vehicle. Then you can settle in and enjoy the ride. When you arrive, your own tour guide will greet you and stay with you all day.
First stop: Karnak Temple. This is the biggest temple site ever made. It covers about 247 acres. You will see three main temple areas, plus smaller enclosed temples and several outside shrines. It reflects the work of many builders over many years, with pharaohs adding to what came before.
After that, lunch is served at a local place in Luxor. Later, you will go across the Nile by motorboat. Then your tour continues.
Next, you will visit the Valley of the Kings. This is where rulers of Egypt were laid to rest from the 18th through the 20th dynasty. Many tombs are found here, including those of Ramses II and Tutankhamun. The walls are covered with detailed scenes. The artwork is still in good condition, so you get a clear look at Egypt’s royal life.
Then head to the Hatshepsut Temple. It is among the best kept temples from Ancient Egypt. You will notice it is built on three levels. In the middle, two wide ramps connect the levels. The design feels well planned and stands out even today.
Afterward, you will see the Colossi of Memnon. These are two huge stone statues of King Amenhotep III. They are all that is left of a mortuary temple. The statues were carved from quartzite sandstone and were moved from Cairo to Luxor, which is about 700 km.

You will start early in Luxor and fly to Cairo with EgyptAir. The flight leaves at 05:50 and lands at 07:00. When you arrive, a guide will meet you, and your sightseeing day begins right away.
Giza Pyramids area.
First, you go to the Pyramids of Giza. You will see the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren, and the Pyramid of Mykerinus. After you look around the main sites, you move on to the Valley Temple. While you are at Giza, you can also get a nearer view of the Great Sphinx. It has the body of a lion and the head of Pharaoh Chephren. It stays by the funeral complex.
Optional stops.
If you want, you may enter the Great Pyramid. You can also visit the Boat Museum near the Cheops Pyramid. These extras are not part of the tour cost.
Egyptian Museum of Antiquities.
After that, you continue to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. This museum holds one of the largest and most important sets of Egyptian artifacts. There are more than 250,000 pieces inside. Among them are items linked to Tutankhamun. These treasures were kept in his tomb for more than 3,500 years. You will also get to view jewelry, gold, and other finds that were discovered in 1920 during the tomb excavation.
Optional tour.
You can choose the Grand Egyptian Museum, also called GEM. It sits near the Giza Pyramids. It is in a trial opening stage that began in October 2024. Guests can visit parts such as the Great Hall, the Grand Staircase, and 12 main galleries. These areas cover artifacts from different times in Egyptian history.
