01:45 PM – Hotel pick-up and ride
A driver will collect you from your hotel in Marsa Alam. You will travel in a 4x4 to Sheikh Malek. This spot is about 25 km north of Marsa Alam airport. From there, your desert day starts.
02:30 PM – Stop 1: Acacia tree
You head into the Eastern Desert toward a Bedouin village, around 22 km away. You will pause at a well known acacia tree for photos and a short look around.
03:00 PM – Stop 2: Wide desert look
You stop again at a higher point. From there you can see a wide stretch of sand and rock.
03:30 PM – Stop 3: Eastern Desert area and Bedouin village
For the third stop, you go up to a mountain top. A guide gives a short talk about the area and how the Eastern Desert has been shaped over time.
When you reach the Bedouin village, you join a guided visit. You will hear about Bedouin daily life and local customs. Tea is served, and you can try a water pipe, or shisha, as you unwind.
04:00 PM – Quad time and camel moments
Next is quad biking in the desert. The total time is about 40 minutes, with around 25 minutes on the quad. After that, you take a calm camel ride for about 20 minutes.
04:50 PM – Sunset on the hill
You watch the sunset from the mountaintop. The view is quiet and still, with the “sound of silence” style of atmosphere.
07:00 PM – Back to the hotel
You board the 4x4 Jeep again. You drive back from the Bedouin village to your hotel in Marsa Alam. The night sky is visible along the way.
