You will be transferred from your hotel at 00:00 by an air‑conditioned car from Marsa Alam to Hurghada airport.

You will visit the Great Pyramid of Giza also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the Great Pyramid of Giza is the one to remain largely intact.

The Pyramids of Cheops:

The Great Pyramid was built as a tomb for the Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khufu. The Great Pyramid was built in the 26th century BC, 27 years after Khufus reign.

Initially standing at 146.5 metres (481 feet) the Great Pyramid was the man‑made structure in the world for more than 3,800 years. Throughout history the majority of the smooth white limestone casing on the Great Pyramid was removed, lowering the height of the Great Pyramid to the 138.5 metres. What is seen today is the underlying core structure of the Great Pyramid. The base of the Great Pyramid was measured to be 230.3 metres (755.6 ft) square giving a volume of roughly 2.6 million cubic metres (92 million cubic feet) which includes an internal hillock.

If you wish to visit the burial chamber of King Cheops then we will visit the Pyramid of Chephren or the Pyramid of Khafre. The Pyramid of Chephren is the second‑tallest and second‑largest of the three Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and the Pyramid of Chephren is the tomb of the Fourth‑Dynasty pharaoh Khafre (Chefren) who ruled from 2558 to 2532 BC. Then we will visit the Pyramid of Mykerinus. Enjoy a view of the three Pyramids of Giza.

We go head to visit the Valley Temple of King Chephren. While doing that you can have a look at the Great Sphinx, the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of King Chephren.

After witnessing the greatness of the pyramids you will be hungry so let us take a break for an Egyptian lunch where you will lose your mind because of the most tasty food you will eat.

Now it is the time for the Egyptian Museum that contains many important pieces of ancient Egyptian history. The Egyptian Museum houses the worlds collection of pharaonic antiquities.

If you wish to visit the mummys royal hall, where you will feel like you are strolling down the Valley of the Kings where most of these mummies were originally resting then ask your tour guide to take you to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Optional.

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) located near the pyramids of Giza is set to be one of the archaeological museums in the world. The Grand Egyptian Museum will showcase Egypts history with over 100,000 artifacts, including the complete collection of King Tutankhamun’s treasures displayed together for the first time. Fly to Aswan then you will be transferred to the hotel, in Aswan, the Basma hotel.

We can start early. Your pick-up is from your hotel in Aswan at 04:00. Then you will travel by air-conditioned vehicle from Aswan to Abu Simbel. The drive takes about 3 hours, and it is mostly to reach the temples.

Abu Simbel temples

The two temples were carved into the mountainside. This was done during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II, in the 13th century BC. When you arrive, your Egyptologist guide will explain more about Ramesses. He was one of the most notable and curious rulers in Egyptian history.

You will see the main façade of the Great Temple. It is for Ramesses II. The façade shows four statues of the pharaoh seated on his throne. This is shown as he ages. In theory, the main temple is dedicated to Amon-Re Horakhty and Ptah. In practice, it was built to bring honor to its creator. Ramses the Great.

Next, you will continue to the smaller temple. This one is for Ramesses' consort, Queen Nefertari. It stands right beside the Great Temple. Take time to admire the rock-cut façade. It shows the pharaoh and his queen.

At 09:00, you will re-board the coach. Then you will return to Aswan. On the way back, you will stop to see the High Dam and the Phila temple. Lunch will be served in Aswan. After lunch, you will drive to Luxor.

Karnak Temple:

No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. Karnak is the temple complex ever built by man and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and pharaohs. Karnak actually contains three temples, smaller enclosed temples and several outer temples situated on 247 acres of land.

Lunch will be served in a restaurant in Luxor. Cross the Nile with a motorboat. Then proceed to visit:

The Valley of Kings:

The Valley of Kings is the resting place of Egypts rulers from the 18th to 20th dynasty. The Valley of Kings is home to tombs including the pharaoh Ramses II and the boy pharaoh Tutankhamen.

The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs is still well preserved.

Hatshepsut Temple:

Hatshepsut Temple is one of the beautiful and best preserved temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two ramps in a central position joining the levels together.

Colossi of Memnon:

Colossi of Memnon are two stone statues of king Amenhotep III. They are the remains of a complete mortuary temple.

The statues are made from blocks of sandstone that originally existed in Cairo and were then moved 700 kilometers to Luxor.

At the end of your tour in Luxor you will be transferred to your hotel, in Marsa Alam. You will arrive at 18:30.
