Day one starts with a flight from the Red Sea area to Cairo. There, visit the Giza Pyramids. Then spend time at the Egyptian Museum to see the ancient items.
Later, you fly to Aswan. You will rest overnight at Basma Hotel. The hotel is on a high point in Aswan, so the views are nice and calm.
On day two, go to Abu Simbel. You will see the rock cut temples tied to Ramses II. After that, you will explore more stops in Aswan. Visit the High Dam. Then go to Philae Island to see the Temple of Goddess Isis.

New Travel Dynamics will collect you from your hotel in Marsa Alam and take you to Hurghada Airport. The drive is about 2 hours 30 minutes. After that, you will fly to Cairo. When you arrive, one of our staff members will meet you and help you.
Next, your tour guide will pick you up in Cairo. Then you will go on an excursion to the Pyramids of Giza. You will see Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. After the pyramids, you will also visit the Great Sphinx. Then you will go to the Valley Temple.
Lunch will be served during the pyramid visit. The meal will be at a local place in Giza.
After lunch, you will visit the Egyptian Museum.
You will also visit the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Tahrir.
Inside, you can see a large set of real items. The number is over 250,000 artifacts. They date back about 5000 years. There is also a special section for Tutankhamen. This section includes treasures, gold, and jewelry. Those items were in his tomb for more than 3,500 years before they were found. The tomb was excavated in 1920.
If you want to see the royal mummies hall, you must tell your tour guide to take you to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. This part is not included. You will pay on site. The cost is 200 Egyptian Pounds.
The New Grand Museum is not open yet. It should open soon, maybe at the end of 2021, or sometime in 2022.
Later, you will fly from Cairo to Aswan. When you arrive in Aswan, you will be transferred to Basma Hotel. You will stay overnight at Basma Hotel.

You will leave your hotel in Aswan at 04:00. Then you will ride in an air-conditioned vehicle. You will go from Aswan to Abu Simbel by vehicle and take about 3 hours to reach the temples.
Abu Simbel temples
Two temples were cut from the rock on the west bank of the Nile. They were made between 1274 and 1244 B.C. One temple is for Ramses the second. It also honors Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra, and Ptah. The front has 4 giant statues. The other temple is for Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor.
Both temples were taken apart stone by stone. They were rebuilt on higher ground. Their preservation is one of the biggest achievements recognized by Unesco.
Pass by the Aswan High Dam, also called the Naser Dam
Aswan High Dam is a rock-fill dam at the northern edge of Egypt. It is also on the border with Sudan. The dam is supplied by the River Nile. The water makes Lake Nasser. Work on the project started in 1960. It was finished in 1968. It was opened in 1971.
At 13:00 you return from Abu Simbel. Lunch will be served in Aswan after you arrive.
After lunch, you will visit Phiala temple
Phiala temple was made for the goddess Isis. It is the last temple built in the classical Egyptian style. Building began around 690 B.C. It was also one of the final places where Isis was still worshipped.
At 16:00 you will start a felucca ride. You will sail around Elphinatine island.
Optional trip: Nubian Village
The Nubian village is one of Aswan’s highlights. It is a good idea to spend about 2 hours there. The area feels real and local. You will see bright colors and hand-made art. As you walk through the village, it can feel special in every small corner.
