Day 1:
Half-Day Tour to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx from Cairo
Your accredited tour guide will meet you any where in Cairo or Giza, to do a Half Day Tour to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx from Cairo. It starts on the Giza Plateau, so you can see one of the ancient seven wonders of the world, the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, plus the pyramid of King Chephren, and also the Valley Temple, where the royal remains of the king were mummified before the burial rites actually took place. Then we go on to the Great Sphinx, which is believed to have been carved from bedrock stone for the same king, Khafra, in ancient Egypt language. You’ll notice that man-headed lion look, it basically means the power of the lion together with human cleverness.
After that, we continue up to the high plateau to view all three pyramids in one panoramic view, with a pretty good chance to try a camel riding moment around Giza Pyramids (optional). Now it is time for tricky photos, something you can do easily with the help of your guide, or the Bedouin guide who will help catch really amazing shots for you , like kissing the Great Sphinx, holding the pyramids “between your hands” and other fun poses.
Later, if we have sufficient time, we’ll visit one of the authorized papyrus institutes. There you will learn more about how ancient Egyptians made papyrus sheets, which took part a lot in creating such a magnificent civilization at the dawn of history.
At the end, you will be transferred back to your hotel, or to any other preferred drop-off spot.
