Walk the top places near Luxor on both sides of the river in just one day. Start on the East Bank with Karnak Temple, then go to Luxor Temple. After that, cross to the West Bank. Spend time at the Valley of the Kings, then visit Hatshepsut Temple.

Begin the Luxor City Tour with a transfer to the West Bank. On the way, you will go to the Valley of the Kings. This place holds tombs made for royal burials. Many kings were laid here. Some of the best known tombs are those of Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, Ramssess VI, Mrenptah, and Amonhotep II.
Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. It was built by Queen Hatshepsut. She was the daughter of Thutmosis I. She ruled Egypt for about 20 years in the 18th Dynasty, around 1490 to 1469 B.C. She is also known as the only pharaonic woman who reigned in ancient Egypt. You will also pass by the Colossi of Memnon. These are the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.
After that, drive to the East Bank of Luxor. You will eat lunch at a local restaurant. Then continue to Karnak Temples. Karnak is a major site for worship. It is dedicated to the God Amon, along with his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
Finish the tour with a visit to the Temple of Luxor. Amenhotep III built it in the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom. Later, Ramesses II completed it in the 19th Dynasty. After the visits, you will be driven back to your hotel in Luxor.
