Day :
Take the evening to watch the Philae Temple Sound and Light Show. It gives you a guided story and shares the tales of Goddess Isis and God Osiris.
You will also learn why this temple is so remarkable. Long ago, the place at Philae was under water for about six months each year.
In the 1960s, a major restoration effort began. The Temple was taken apart and moved, piece by piece, to its present spot.
When the show starts, the lights and sound bring the walls to life. You can see the shape and strength of the old site as the story is told. Then walk through the temple grounds while you listen to its history.
After the program, you will return to your hotel.
