You start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Marsa Alam. After that, you go to the marina in a comfortable transfer. At the marina, you board a boat and head out toward Dolphin House, also called Sha’ab Samadai. This is one of the well known places in the Red Sea for seeing wild dolphins.
Before you reach the site, your snorkeling guide talks briefly about the area. You also get simple tips on how to act around sea life. When you arrive at Dolphin House, you can snorkel in the clear water near the reef. Dolphins often rest and move around there.
The reef has a horseshoe like shape. It gives dolphins a natural sheltered spot from wind and waves. That is why it became known as “Dolphin House.”
Your trip has two snorkeling stops. Each stop runs about 45 minutes. You will swim over lively coral reefs and, if conditions are right, you may spot spinner dolphins nearby. Between the stops, you can relax on the boat. Soft drinks and snacks are served while you enjoy the sun.
After that, you sail to Sha’ab Marsa Alam for another snorkeling session. You get one more chance to swim before you return to the marina. When you arrive back at the marina, your transfer will take you to your hotel in Marsa Alam. A buffet lunch and drinks are also served onboard.
