Day 1:
Day 1:
A New Travel Dynamics driver will meet you at your hotel in Marsa Alam. You will travel by modern air-conditioned vehicle and fly to Luxor. In Luxor, you will see Karnak Temple, one of the best known sacred sites. Its ancient name was Ipet-isut, which is often translated as “the most sacred of places.”
Karnak was not built in a short time. It grew over more than two thousand years. Pharaohs added parts across many generations. Inside the site, the Hypostyle Hall stands out with its huge pillars, like a dense stone forest.
During the trip you will stop for lunch at a good quality restaurant. After that, you will go to the West Bank of the Nile. First, you will pass the Colossi of Memnon, the giant statues of Amenhotep III. Next comes the Valley of the Kings. The royal tombs were cut into desert rock. They were decorated with care and stocked with items meant for life after death.
You will enter three tombs. Afterward, you will continue to El Deir El Bahary to see the temple of Hatshepsut. This place is for Queen Hatshepsut. It is known for being one of the few temples that clearly shows a female pharaoh. The building rises in terraces from the desert floor and blends into the limestone cliffs around it.
When the day ends, you will be taken back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
