6 Days Egypt Desert Tours & Alexandria Tour

The 6 Days Egypt Desert & Alexandria Tour offering a unique journey that combines history, culture, and unforgettable sightseeing across Egypt. Drive from Cairo to Alexandria 230-km, At the first stop, you can admire the famous library of Alexandria, one of the largest and most impressive examples of ancient times.

At the next stop, you visit the site of Pharos lighthouse of Alexandria, once an Ancient Wonder of the world. Now in its place, the grand Citadel of Qaitbay.

Then a visit to the Montazah Palace gardens of King Farouk. Where you can marvel at the presidential palaces of Salamlek, Al-Haramlik, and their adjacent beaches. Followed by great photo opportunities at Alexandria’s most charming mosque & memorial statue of Alexander the Great.

Next stop, a visit to the oldest church in Africa; the church of St Mark. Then following on to a trip to Alexandria’s old harbor with views of the entire city and multiple stops at unique photo opportunities. Lastly, a stop at Alexandria’s downtown.

Once the tour is complete you will be transferred to your hotel.

Overnight at Alexandria

After breakfast, we leave Alexandria behind and arrive at Alamein, 60 km away. There, we visit the WWII Museum and the War Memorial. (Lunch en route)

Moving on, we pass by Marsa Matruh. Upon reaching Siwa, 300 km away, we tour the old Siwan village of Shali.

Dinner & Overnight Camping.

After breakfast we go first to Cleopatra’s Spring, the Mountain of the Dead,and the Temple of Alexander the Great (also called the Temple of the Oracle). Then we sort out lunch at some local restaurant, after that we take a donkey drawn cart for a sort of walkthrough around the city ,before we head 17 km off-road toward the Great Sand Sea.

When we arrive, we just relax by the hot spring of Bir Wahid, there you can bathe, and kind of soak in the quiet desert mood. Later in the evening, dinner comes next,and after you eat you can unwind while watching the stars up there, in that clear desert sky.

Overnight Camping.

After breakfast we kind of head off-road on this 450-km trip over to El Bahariya Oasis. Along the way we pass by Bahrein, Nawemisa and Sitra Oases, too. We grab lunch en route, and then we roll through those magnificent sand dunes of the Great Sand Sea, it looks unreal.

When we finally reach Bahariya Oasis we check into the hotel. After dinner we go off-road again, just to bathe in the hot spring under the stars, nice and warm.

Overnight Camping.

After breakfast we sorta tour the city, and we stop by the Temple of Alexander the Great, the Tombs of the Nobles, the Golden Mummies, and the English Mountain.

After that, enjoy lunch along the way, then keep going toward the White Desert, around 160 km on or off road. Once we arrive, we start wandering through its incredible formations, plus wind worked sculptures that sort of look like human, and also animal faces.

Keep exploring the special shapes that make the White Desert feel like the surface of another planet, and honestly it turns into an unforgettable desert experience.

Dinner, & Overnight Camping in Farafra.

After breakfast, we go on off road towards the Black Desert and that surrounding dune zone. We start our climb up a 50-meter high dune, kind of taking our time while you get those spectacular Egyptian desert panoramas along the route.

Later, on the way to Bahariya Oasis, we stop at Crystal Mountain and the Area of the Wonders , there you can discover the beautiful desert roses, plus the well known arch.

After lunch, we start heading back to Cairo, around 370 km, and then we wrap up this truly unforgettable desert adventure, you know, completely.
