4 Days Christmas Tour Through Cairo Wonders

When you land at Cairo airport on Christmas day, a representative from “New Travel Dynamics” will meet you. They will help with the entry steps. They will also make sure your bags are ready and that you get into the right vehicle. After that, you will ride in a private, air-conditioned car to your hotel in Cairo. Check-in will be quick and easy.

Dinner Cruise

That night, your plan moves to the Nile for a Dinner Cruise. The evening starts with dinner served in a calm setting. While you eat, belly dancing shows will entertain you. A folklore band will play music during the ride. You will also see the Tannoura performance up close.

Overnight

Giza Pyramids  
The Giza Pyramids Complex is a major sight from ancient Egypt. It goes back more than 4500 years. The place includes the three famous main pyramids, plus smaller ones. You will also see the Great Sphinx. There is a valley temple there too.

The Great Pyramid  
The Great Pyramid of Giza is linked to Pharaoh Khufu. It was built around 2570 BC. People estimate it took about 20 years to finish. Workers used around 2.3 million limestone blocks. Together they add up to close to a million tons. The height is about 147 m, which is 481 ft. Inside, there are areas people often mention. You may hear about the grand hall and the king’s chamber. There are other rooms as well, with detailed design and art.

The Great Sphinx  
The Great Sphinx is a well known mystery from ancient times. It is tied to stories of strength and wisdom. The statue dates to about 2540 BC. It was carved to look like Pharaoh Khafre. Many visitors, writers, and artists come to see it. The body is carved from one huge piece of limestone. It is about 73 meters (240 ft), a width of 19 meters (62 ft), and a height of 20 meters (66 ft).

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple feels otherworldly. It dates to Egypt’s 4th dynasty. In that era, royal leaders took part in mummification rituals. The temple is built from clean limestone and granite. Along the walls, you can see large diorite figures that honor the pharaohs.  

Giza Camel Ride

This Christmas tour starts with something fun. Before you go to the Grand Egyptian Museum, you will ride a camel. You will cross the sands on the Giza Plateau. These lands are home to major works of ancient Egyptian architecture.  

Lunch Time

After your trip to the Pyramids of Giza, you will be taken to a good restaurant in Cairo. There, you can taste Egyptian food. Then your day of exploring will continue.

The Grand Egyptian Museum  
The Grand Egyptian Museum feels grand and full of history. Its goal is to highlight Egypt’s heritage, reaching back over 5,000 years. Inside, you can see artifacts and monuments that reveal surprising facts, small details, and lasting stories.  

The museum will display a large set of pharaonic treasures, totaling more than 100,000 items. These will be shown in modern halls and gallery spaces. The site is near the Giza plateau, close to the pyramids. It covers almost 490,000 square meters.  

GEM also plans a major conservation setup in the Middle East. It will keep timeless pieces safe. Among them are the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter statue of Ramses II, and the full set of more than 5,000 objects linked to Tutankhamun.  

Overnight  
Later, once the day slows down, go back to your hotel. Let the sights from today stay with you for a while. Then you can rest overnight. Tomorrow brings more Christmas moments and new stops.

The Hanging Church  
The Hanging Church, also called St. Virgin Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church, sits in Cairo, Egypt. People say it feels like it is floating above an older ruin. The reason is its odd placement on top of remains from a Roman fortress. The building shows careful Coptic design. It also matters for faith and for local history.  

Lunch Time  
Have lunch at a nearby Cairo restaurant. Then we will head out for the next stop.  

Al Muizz Street  
Al Muizz Street is well known in Cairo. It was laid out by the Fatimid dynasty in the 10th century AD. Back then, it became a lively place for people to meet and trade. Today the area still feels like a mix of daily life and older stories. You can also see the UNESCO listed part of Egypt here. Around 1979, it was already treated as a special place where culture and trade meet.  

Khan El Khalili Bazaar  
Khan El Khalili is a market area that has been around for a long time. It goes back to old times and is linked to the period up to 970 AD. The streets are busy and full of small shops. You can find common crafts, older style goods, and places to sit and drink. The look of the area also follows Islamic building styles. Much of it still stands strong.  

Overnight  
When the day ends, we take you back to your hotel. You then get time to rest for the night.

On day four of the Cairo Christmas tour, you start with breakfast. It is served with care, so you feel ready for the day ahead. Later, our team member meets you and walks you to Cairo airport. This helps your trip home go smoothly. Then the tour comes to an end, and you leave with memories from your three-night stay.
