Stella Gardens Resort & Spa (also called Stella Makadi Gardens) is this popular 5 star all inclusive spot, it sits across large green landscaped grounds in the Makadi Bay area of Hurghada Egypt. It is about 32 km south of Hurghada International Airport, and the place is not far from the Red Sea itself. There is even a complimentary inside shuttle option (taftaf) that makes it easy to reach the private coral beach of the sister property.

Features & Amenities

Pools & Water Park: The resort has a wide pool scene, with several main outdoor freshwater pools, plus separate children’s pools. And yes there is a water park too, full of slides and all that fun.

Beach Access: For the Red Sea, guests get access to a private sandy and coral zone, it’s a short ride from the main garden buildings. This area is pretty good for snorkeling and lounging in the sun, even if the sand and coral mix a bit.

Family & Child-Friendly: There is a lively international animation team, a kids club for ages 4–12, a mini disco, and also outdoor play spaces where kids can actually burn energy.

Wellness & Sports: The spa is basically the full package, with massages, sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi, and a beauty salon. There’s also a fitness center, tennis courts, mini golf, and beach volleyball.

The tour showed excellent organization because every aspect was properly managed from beginning to end. The free time I received allowed me to explore at my own speed, which I found enjoyable. The special thanks go to Mr. Abdullah and driver mesho because they demonstrated professional behavior and trustworthy conduct. The staff members displayed a friendly attitude, which they combined with their willingness to assist customers. The price was reasonable, and the explanations were clear and easy to follow. I would recommend the company, although a few details could be improved slightly.
