Three Pyramids Dahabiya​ Nile Cruise

Upon your arrival in Esna, our representative will welcome you and accompany you to the Dahabiya cruise. You then have the opportunity to check in and settle into your comfortable cabin and familiarize yourself with the amenities on board.

 

The pleasure of an alfresco drink accompanies the formal introduction, at which all travelers will get an outline of the cruise itinerary and even safety procedures. Beginning the journey will bring us sailing toward the cozy city of El Hegz with the silent splendor of the Nile taking over the scene.

Proceed through your boat journey to El Kab, which will lead to your investigation of the El Kab tombs, which contain extraordinary hieroglyphs and carvings that depict ancient Egyptian customs and beliefs. 

After your visit, return to the boat for a relaxing lunch as you sail onward to Edfu. The Temple of Edfu stands as one of Egypt's most intact temples, which was built to honor the falcon god Horus, and your guide will present its important historical and cultural information. 

The journey continues as you sail to a nearby, picturesque island close to Edfu. The island provides a pleasant barbecue dinner experience, which includes traditional music and entertainment during the evening. The day concludes with an overnight stay on the island, allowing you to experience the serene and magical atmosphere of the Nile under the night sky. 

Start the morning with breakfast served on the deck of the Dahabiya while enjoying the calm and scenic Nile views. Afterwards, sail toward the peaceful Bisaw Island, a quiet and picturesque stop along the river.

On arrival, take part in a traditional fishing experience using local boats and age-old techniques, offering an authentic connection with Nile life. Return to the boat and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch as you continue sailing toward your next destination.

In the afternoon, explore the ancient Silsila Quarries, where sandstone was historically extracted for temple construction. Discover the impressive rock-cut carvings and remains that reflect the craftsmanship of ancient Egypt.

Later, continue sailing to a tranquil island where you will anchor for the night. End the day with a relaxing dinner on board, enjoying a peaceful evening surrounded by the beauty and silence of the Nile.

After breakfast, sail toward the city of Kom Ombo, where you will visit the remarkable Kom Ombo Temple, a unique double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. Here, you will discover its distinctive architecture and learn about its rich historical and religious significance.

Continue your journey downstream to the bustling town of Daraw, where you will explore the lively Daraw Market, famous for its exotic spices, handmade crafts, and local produce, offering a vibrant taste of local life.

Return to the Dahabiya for a relaxing lunch while sailing onward toward Aswan. By evening, arrive in the vibrant city of Aswan, where you will enjoy a sumptuous dinner prepared on board.

The day concludes with an overnight stay docked in Aswan, allowing you to experience the lively atmosphere of the city while still enjoying the comfort and tranquility of your Dahabiya.

Enjoy your final breakfast on board the Dahabiya as you take in the last peaceful views of the Nile.
