Valley of the Kings

Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1349 BC) have stood for centuries since they were created in 1350 BC. These statues are known as the guardians of Thebes. They carry decorations that tell the story of his family and images of the god Hapi. The statues also produce sounds that were heard in the Greco‑Roman period.
Lunch Time

The Giza Pyramids complex was built by the kings of the dynasty during the early days of the old kingdom (2686 – 2134 BC) to honor the golden miracles of the ancient Egyptian civilization.
The Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid of Giza is a living miracle that has survived through time to tell the story of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC. 2584 BC). It was designed by his architect Hemiunu in 2570 BC to reach a height of 147 meters using 2.3 million limestone blocks and 400,000 skilled workers. The pyramid has an inside with the King’s chamber, the grand hall the Queens chamber and many other parts.
The Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx is a guardian spirit known as Horus the god which shows the legacy of Pharaoh Khafre (2558 BC. 2532 BC). It was carved from a piece of limestone to remember the strength and wisdom of Khafre. It is the man-made statue in the world today. The Sphinx has his face and the body of a lion. Between his paws is a dream stele that was placed there in 1401 by Pharaoh Thutmose IV.
The Valley Temple
The Valley Temple is a royal granite temple from the dynasty built in 2600 BC inside the Giza Complex. It was used to perform the Mummification Process on the members of the dynasty.
