A guide will meet you at the border when you enter Palestine. You will be brought there from Taba after you leave your hotel. The bus will carry you with the rest of the group.
Then you will head to the Dead Sea. You can feel how salty the water is as you float. On the way to the holy city, you will pause at Qumran. This is where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. You will also spend some time watching Bedouin life in the desert.
After that, the next stop is the Western Wall. It is one of the key places in Jerusalem for prayer. The wall is from the Second Temple. The Romans destroyed that temple in 70 AD. Today people come there to pray and think quietly.
Next you will go to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. It is a major site for Christians. Traditions link it to the time of the crucifixion, the burial, and the resurrection. The church is used by six Christian groups. Many visitors describe it as deeply moving.
After the church, you will visit the Mount of Olives. Here the story of Zechariah is tied to the place. The belief is that the Messiah will come back to Jerusalem. It is also said the mount will split, leaving a wide valley.
From the Mount of Olives, you will see the Old City of Jerusalem from above. In the Old City you can find the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. You can also see the Church of the Nativity. The Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage site and it feels rich with past and culture.
At the end, you will visit Yad Vashem. This Holocaust Memorial is emotional and serious. It helps people remember what happened during the Holocaust. After the visit, the tour will end and you will be dropped off at your Sharm el Sheikh hotel.
